i really like the energy you are bringing for these force five videos. You can really tell that you are enjoying yourself making these. Keep this content coming!
I built dooku yellow and fell in the same strategy. Very good value plays early and kraken side swarm for anti control. This deck already does good vs against agro and mid. And yes I have figured I it how to make this both heavy and swarm. Things like on the doorstep and invisible hand are great
Thanks for the insight! On the Doorstep definitely seems like it would help with the swarm aggression tactic -- maybe Dooku Yellow will by my next spot in testing him!
I am curious if you could make maul work. Trade units with overhwelm to accumulate chip damage, then finish it with a krayt dragon. Haven't been able to work it out myself, though.
I really like running Reprocess in this deck cause it gives you extra value out of those units you defeated early and makes exploit a lot more viable in the mid game where the Waylay threat is the biggest
@ my reason for 5/4 being better than 4/5 is specifically Sabine. Being able to stop Sabine in its tracks with a 5 power sentinel feels really good to me. I’m also using vanguard infantry which often makes it a 6/5 sentinel but that may be inoptimal
Nute Gunray probably suits the potential droid token swarm tactic better and I have Cody in that deck so I can pivot in the game if it would actually be better to stop exploiting. I like Grievous Reassembly with Gunray and Dooku also as ideally you'll heal up a sentinel and get a battle droid token.
It's pretty close to what I had built though I like kraken in the main and Droid deployment to help set up. I do think B2 legion might be better than the aat it's got 1 more keyword and trades better against some things. And I do quite like kalani it can be a little clunky but it curves very nicely into barrage if you exploit it as a 4c 5/7
I was running Droid Deployment at first but ended up swapping it for Poggle the Lesser... not sure how I feel about that change overall, I think Poggle is (much) better on turn one but I'd probably rather have Droid Deployment later on in the game! I also tested the B2 Legionnaires but ended up preferring the AAT thanks to its increased resilience. Didn't test Kalani much but seems worth a look!
@TowerNumberNine the issues I ran into playing poggle myself is that he's really only good turn 1 and you don't really want to follow him up with a 5 cost unit which is the playline I prefer. (Im playing both AA2 and B2 i think you want that defense on the ground)
@@leviponce7730 Yeah that's fair. He can provide a big advantage if not answered but you don't really love Exploiting him compared to other units, so he makes the five-drop on turn two less appealing. On the other hand he's excellent if you have a two cost start and follow it up with a three cost unit the next turn...
Wartime trade official/confederate currier into Kalani turn 2 into Bactoid spider droid turn 3 is a fun line. Because the Bactoid has ambush (and will get immediate value) and Kalani will re-trigger the when played, this is pretty resilient to bounce effects.
@kellz9972 Yes I mean Kraken, I always get the 2 confused. Kraken makes the fodder for the Bactoid Spider droid turn 3 and your opponent never has a chance to prevent your units from getting at least some value before being bounced.
Weird combo but I've made IG 88 work well in an exploit deck and essentially win two different ways either by amassing droids dropping IG and hitting for 15+ on turn 4 or by getting 2-3 big units out and using planetary invasion to hit for 20-30+ damage on turn 6. I've taken this deck to a couple weekly plays now and it's fun to watch them question everything after they lose to IG.
I dunno, in a sense it’s free but I don’t think I want to sacrifice five units for him - I suppose he can then turn that into damage to get value back, but I’m still not sure… could be worth testing though!
@@TowerNumberNine yeah it sounds like a crazy idea but it can board wipe your opponent. Also exploit Motti and ready leader Dooku or ally Dooku just played. I’ve played it a lot! I also run Invisible Hand to get a pile of tokens.
Think that Kalani is a staple in Dooku. This is because I think temporary stat buffs are really good in Dooku. You can buff stats on a unit, and then trade it up with 1 or 2 HP left, then exploit it before it would die anyway. This completely mitigates the downside of exploit, cause you were gonna lose the unit anyway. And if your opponent sees this and starts using cards to deal with your guys that are about to die anyway? That's super good for you. Just my thoughts.

Thanks a bunch, the series is definitely a lot of fun! More on the way soon -- just got finished playing my last testing games for my Ahsoka video!
I agree love the info graphics and his ideas, ive build my rex green deck with some of those ideas! Hes very informative

@ if you’d like any list ideas for it feel free to let me know! It’s been my focus all of set 3
Would you be down to share your list? I was also thinking about dooku yellow but am not sure yet :)

Thanks for the suggestion!

Good point! 1-2x Reprocess seems like it might be quite relevant.
I think using 1 cost Starters could be amazing to immediately play 3 cost exploits on turn 1. Vanguard Infantry makes a 5/5 Grievous on turn 1.
Interesting point!
Could always splash regional governor in the sideboard for those matchups you are worried about waylay?
Good point, though the Governor doesn't altogether fit into what the deck is otherwise trying to do. Could be interesting though...
The b2 legion is also a really good 5 cost sentinel. 5/4 with overwhelm.
I tested the B2 Legion a bit but preferred the AAT, I think I'd rather have a 4/5 than a 5/4 when it comes to being a Sentinel. Could be wrong though?
@@TowerNumberNine I've tested a similar line up a bunch, and I agree that AAT is better.

Yeah, I think I'm going to explore the swarm tactics more when it comes time to do a Force Five for Nute and/or Wat Tambor...

Kalani can't be played turn 2. 6 cost and then with dooku is 4 cost+exploit.
Did you mean Kraken?
@kellz9972 Yes I mean Kraken, I always get the 2 confused. Kraken makes the fodder for the Bactoid Spider droid turn 3 and your opponent never has a chance to prevent your units from getting at least some value before being bounced.
@JackEdling sounds fun! I've been high on the spider Droid during sealed, I'll have to try it in constructed 👀

Interesting! What are your Exploit targets and what are you using to create all the droids?
Guess it won't let me post a link but my deck is called IG 88 droid explosion 2.0 on swudb.
If you do find it/check it out pls give me some tips on how you would make it better
Swudb name: NarwhalTeam6
Red Dooku ally is really good tech in this deck. Costs 10 but can get exploit 5 to essentially make him free.
I was about to ask how he gets exploit 5, but I forgot that Dooku’s leader unit ability gives exploit 3. That’s really interesting…
I dunno, in a sense it’s free but I don’t think I want to sacrifice five units for him - I suppose he can then turn that into damage to get value back, but I’m still not sure… could be worth testing though!
