This was my dream bike back in 1978, but all i could afford was a well used AT-125. Nice video showing the flexibility of the SR platform off road.

Hello guys. On SR500 with carburettor mikuni vm34 and airfilter pod ramair. What size jets do you use and in which position you put the niddle?
These are really cool bikes. I just think it's kinda weird to build scramblers out of street bikes that were developed from off road bikes.

My sr250 suspension bottoms out over the tiniest bumps. Help!

@@hpg2u i got it fixed. Replaced rear shocks with longer ones and set the preload. Next will be replacing the whole front with that of an xt250 from the same year.

The combination of music and image is a bit weird
Couldn't even bother to put the rear shocks right side up, amateurs.
Remind me, how do shocks work again?
Resto-ruined. My 1979 SR500 still running strong, unmolested.
All this “atmosphere”, and very little of the bike,,,,,meh.
