Fall of '95, my roommate hates this guy's guts until one night he's got this doll with a string on it. He pulls it, and the doll, in Greg's sanitized voice goes, "we've got a crappy time-slot!" Doode starts laughing and can't stop and likes him after that. Point is, something about this guy rubs people the wrong way by just him standing there and I'm not sure what it is. As referenced from another commentor, I remembered him from his days in talk soup.
Unluckiest guy in late night talk show history. If YOU see eau de Letterman, then Letterman could have CERTAINLY seen it, and I'm sure he saw him as a threat. I'm wondering if that is a reason he didn't become THEE late-night rock star of the 90's bc if he wasn't shelf'd Letterman, Conan, and Leno would have self immolated. Would LOVE to see the opening monologue to this. Sounds like maybe it was performed with a certain grace. Green room pre-show doesn't sound like it went very smooth either.
Chitresh Bhatt yeah that's his name. He was in a few movies. He played the villan in Mystery Men, loved that movie. But since when did people on talk shows sit on the other side, lol
He was in "as good as it gets" with jack Nicholson. He was great. He was also great in "stuck on you" with Matt Damon. He's much bigger than Jon lovitz now.
That’s interesting he is a good singer… tennis player too. Game on !
I hear his voice and I miss Talk Soup
That would have been great if there was no Greg Kinnear.

It’s understandable they were inspired by the classic , triple threat performers from the 30’s and 40’s
In all honesty Greg Kinnear was not bad at this, and even has some "Essence de Letterman" in my opinion.
I like a Greg in about everything he does
