You are missing one thing, none of this things are legal in europe, they are not allowed, but fans has developed a sneaky way which outsmarted authority and no ultras was ever caught in Poland
Not sure about the rest of Europe but in Scotland it was always illegal to bring them into the stadium but recently they passed a law that bans them outside the stadium to. It’s not made any difference if anything the ultra scene is just getting stronger with most clubs having small groups and the big two clubs having pretty large groups with amazing ticks and pyro shows
@ in Poland it was always illegal to smuggle it to the stadium, it is not only about lighting it, if you have it on the stadium you get at least stadiums ban or jail time up to 5 years.
@ in Poland it works like that: Ultras either have agreement with the club that fans will not do extreme shit if they allow them to take pyro, or they smuggle pyro wrapped in big flags. The second option is most frequently used technique in whole europe. And about the club it is not that they allow it, but they make ultras less likely to get caught smuggling pyro, the guards know whom should they let in. But mostly rhey just try to smuggle it wrapped in a big material, which makes pyro practically not possible to see. But club usually gives ultras some chips or keys, because most of the banners and flags are on the stadium, and also ive seen things like that- guy in thr mask with a flare in the hand, uses a chip to enter another part of the stadium in order to do pyroshow on the other stand, or guards letting them in, even without asking.
@ thats what i tried to say. It is legal to have pyro and buy it probably in every european country, but you cannot smuggle it on the stadium and you cannot light it up either

12:00 You nailed this Gladiator-stuff. When you see/hear those thousands of passionate fans, you feel like you have no rights to be less passionate, you just can't let them down.
Americans are loud and extraverted, enthousiast, have loads of songs ready for the taking, they can sing their national anthem together and even pledge allegiances, just let them develop their own thing over the years. But these things are not the point, these are just the cherries on the cake. You gotta have the cake first, you're not a consumer, you're not to be entertained, you are there to support your team, do all you can do to make them win, make yourselves heard with every forward pass or tackle, help them through difficult spells in the game. This is all nice for YT, it's during the 90 minutes of playing time the supporters have to give support, the rest comes from that.
I'm happy the US seems to be embracing football (soccer) more and more, and this shows in the crowds of MLS and other US leagues. (Like the USL championship). But in terms of passionate fans, europe got the experience😅
There is no competition between US and Europe when it comes to real passion. Not only in football (soccer) but also in "US sports" like Basketball and Icehockey.

But there is a video of when they played Melbourne at the 100,000 seater MCG and (even in Australia the entire crowd had LFC Shirts on) that rendition of the YNWA has to be heard to be believed.
@@saraprva4172 I get it and the LFC one is the exception in that it is not 'Ultras' but, pretty much the entire crowd. That having been said this is still not anything like the US. @05NBuckley It wasn't even in Liverpool or England, so more to do with global marketing of a brand - We have songs including whole stadium not just ultras but they are directly related to Dalmatia, Croatia or Hajduk...YNWA is a song adopted by Liverpool fans (amongst others) but no connection to club or city & sung by Australians...just like a pop song known internationally. A definition of brand marketing and comercial rather than cultural. Also English football fans are more like American sports fans than European football culture
@@saraprva4172 In respect of your last point I have to disagree; all 3 are different to each other. As for the singing of YNWA @ the MCG; actually, again I disagree. Liverpool are popular, like Man Utd. far beyond UK shores and do market themselves accordingly; but this singing of the song was for a totally different reason. LFC's huge (overseas) Fanbase know what that song means, they know the history and they took the opportunity to make their own history and be part of something a lot of Liverpool Fans experience 20+ times a year/season. Having said all of this it is obvious you do have a lot of interest in and knowledge of world football; probably more than myself and I hope I haven't offended you with the two, above points (of view).
Nice reaction. I strongly recommend "The Hidden Gym" a "documentary" made by Devin Williams. It's about Euroleague basketball and also about the fans (same ultras who are present in the football stands) . Enjoy

Yes, the US Fans obviously are inspired by what's there in Europe and can't replicate it exactly. And some nuances like local rivalries and the traditions behind them don't really transfer to anywhere new. (Miner club vs. steel worker club, cities used to have different feudal lords and/or religious majorities, working class vs. dictatorial government supported). But I feel like the rate of improvement is super high and clearly visible and there clearly is passion there. If ever moved to the US, going to see the local MLS Team and interacting with their Fan base looks like a good time to me. Even though it may feel different from what's back home. These "soccer" Fans in the US already are looking more passionate and better organized than the Fans of the actual traditional US Sports tbh.
i got to say that the Supporter culture has developed alot in the US for Soccer i think its kinda cool.. but there is still a level to the passion thats missing some of them are greatly out of synk when singing.. But i think the US will get there sinse they seem to adopt alot from europe i assume people that moved from europe to the US and maybe started watching teams there has helped.
you know that will never happen because they are all americans first. i was born and raised in hamburg and will always be that first and because i was raised christian in a conservatice household i will never support st.pauli.
A big difference is that the European clubs have been doing this for decades, and not to have fun; it's more to celebrate their club's history...and to intimidate the opponents. It does look like the MLS fans really get into it and have a good time though, so fair play.
Hello, you need at least 100 years of tradition in football to help supporters from the USA to be like those from EUROPE. With us, tradition is part of our DNA...but from what I've seen, we're on the right track...(without those flags in the colors of the rainbow, of course...if you want to die, you can come to the stadium with a flag and you will surely leave with your feet first at the gates of the stadium)
This is the modest part of football in europe... There is footage of an actual stadium moving from the jumping. Also the Yugoslavian civil war started on the pitch at the match between red star Belgrad and Dynamo Zagreb.
Ere in England we are hooligans and have been since we invented football in 13th century. I also been to mls games and it's pathetic. No one wanted to fight
Wait dude…Football as a associated sport, originated in Great Britain in the second half of the 19th century and spread to continental Europe and other continents by the 1880s and 1890s 🤨 If you want to call the medieval war games of the 12th and 13th centuries, such as "soule" football (yes, people kicked a ball but weapons were also allowed), then you should also consider the Welsh „pilae ludus“. Likewise, you could also say that the Greeks, with their „Episkyros“, invented football in the 4th century BCE. According to sources, the Chinese Ts'u-chü is the oldest, playable football game in the world ;-) What you English have invented is modern associated football as a global sport 👍🏻
Compared to the US, generally speaking, in Europe the construction quality of buildings is far superior. Our stadiums are built to withstand a lot of pressure and last a long time. When you see videos of the higher stands moving up and down, seemingly breaking, that is by design, it's science. The stands have to be flexible, nothing scary about it. Talking about stadiums, I have to comment on American stadiums. For the 2026 World Cup, there have been many concerns raised over the American stadiums chosen, and the American stadiums in general. Lack of safe conditions for the fans and the players, really bad pitches made with unsafe turf or poorly placed and maintained grass, poor security... The 2024 Copa América in the US was a real shame. I hope the stadiums picked for the World Cup can get ready in time.
You see the spark of Ultras now in the US, give it some time, it needs time to grow. Its a Worldwide thing, you are just the last to enjoy it ;-) And nothing with flames and smoke is legal in any of these countries, but its part of the Ultra Culture.

The difference is, ultras cult has a history way back to the 70ties.. nevertheless in the 90ties usa sports we're verry populaire to watch in Europe! We all played baseball, basketball etc after school! Wearing starter clothes etc.. besides that ofcourse football fans/hooligans are different 😉
You need to check ,,Ultra - Our way of life , the american spectators doesn't have a chance ;) . Check also Greek , Turkish , Polish and Balkan fans ( Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia ,lot of them in the mentioned clip)
without promotion/relegation, youth academies, local clubs, memberships, 50+1 rule, no playoffs, not going after big names, a cup like the champions league, less entertainment, less ads, less american you will never have what us europeans have. another reason i think football will never be the same in the states is purely geographical. for example in the nfl steelers vs browns is the biggest rivalry but the cities are like two hours apart and the people dont interact with eachother on a daily basis. also there isnt that much difference in the people overall unlike in europe you all have this fake niceness and overall national pride. for you its country>state>county>city>club whereas in europe for most its club>city>country>state>county
No rebuilding. Yeah after 100 years. We Europeans and our stadiums are different. Quality building and people who appreciate 'THEIR' temple. Home of the club they love and visit every week. Clubs are an extension of the area and its culture and mindset. Clubs are not franchises that easily move to another town.

The US will never have the same love or passion for football as Europe does. In Europe football is a huge part of your life growing up, its embedded into your DNA. As for these fans, the US fans were like cheerleaders in comparison to European fans 😂 American sport has too many breaks and adverts for people to get riled up. The NFL is also boring af to watch, it's like the homosexual version of rugby 😂
The American ultras are not bad, but they are still far from a European level. They still have a lot to learn. An American soccer match still seems like an easy, relaxed weekend family program to me, not a BVB ultra level
I have to say, the US has put in some work! This fan culture exists in europe much longer, so it is only normal, that they have the better choreos and so on. 🤷🏼♂️ But the US made a lot of progress, if you compare it to the first or the second video. Respect! 👍🏻 Have a good one! ✌🏻
@ArranBuchan-d3m No harm done! 👍🏻 I see it like you, europe is much better. But I wanted to give credit to the US fans, for the progress they made. It is not the usual picture in the US, when you look at the fans at a sport event. And everything that's unusual, is always seen very critical. So I think it is great, what they have done in the last years. ✌🏻
I'll check it out. Hopefully I will be able to post it. I watched a great video of amazing defenders and youtube wouldn't let me upload it. It got blocked.

Sorry about that. Stuff like that bugs me. I don't know why my mic noise suppresser didn't stop that. I will have to do better at testing before I record. Thank you for watching.
The difference is, ultras cult has a history way back to the 70ties.. nevertheless in the 90ties usa sports we're verry populaire to watch in Europe! We all played baseball, basketball etc after school! Wearing starter clothes etc.. besides that ofcourse football fans/hooligans are different 😉
some Football Fans in Europ Lives football...and there fight for the Club and the city
You need react to top 10 tifo choreos football 2024 by ultra world
In Portland, they wave lgbt flags, in Europe they are burned🤣🤣🤣
Paris Saint Germain is not representative of the atmosphere in stadiums in France (Olympic Marseille, Racing Club Lens, Saint Etienne)
You need to check ,,Ultra - Our way of life , the american spectators doesn't have a chance ;) . Check also Greek , Turkish , Polish and Balkan fans ( Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia ,lot of them in the mentioned clip)
in the US you go to a match in Europe you go to war
That's my psg !!
Never can U.S. Americans understand European football culture!
It is in our lives, everyday life, family and culture!
And never call it SOCCER!!!
Its not legal in europe. But the passion trumps all.
without promotion/relegation, youth academies, local clubs, memberships, 50+1 rule, no playoffs, not going after big names, a cup like the champions league, less entertainment, less ads, less american you will never have what us europeans have. another reason i think football will never be the same in the states is purely geographical. for example in the nfl steelers vs browns is the biggest rivalry but the cities are like two hours apart and the people dont interact with eachother on a daily basis. also there isnt that much difference in the people overall unlike in europe you all have this fake niceness and overall national pride. for you its country>state>county>city>club whereas in europe for most its club>city>country>state>county
the flags on Portland timbers LOL! i will not say any more 😆
I seen that but didn't want to say anything on the video lol. That's Portland though.
@@REZZIKFC It would not stay long in Europe 😄
@@djkatz2123 At some clubs it does, like at Tottenham's and St.Pauli.
Im a real madrid ultra
No rebuilding. Yeah after 100 years. We Europeans and our stadiums are different. Quality building and people who appreciate 'THEIR' temple. Home of the club they love and visit every week. Clubs are an extension of the area and its culture and mindset. Clubs are not franchises that easily move to another town.
Watch San SIRO stadium AC MILAN /NAPOLI CHAMPIONS LEAGUE..
HAVE A NICE DAY..
Thank you for watching. I will add it to the list. I have a few I have to get to.
our stadiums are not sturdy structures. they are built for that: ruclips.net/video/D9WM1u5YwBg/видео.html
The Yanks are catching on finally.
Nothing of this is allowed in Europe...we just do it...🤣
Hello, unfortunately I don't understand how you selected the videos, but it's not just you, it applies to 99% of this type of video. Yes, I come from Dresden, but even without my love for Dresden, Dynamo is one of the top 5 in Germany and in the top 10 in Europe.
General information: if pyrotechnics are set off in the stadium, this means penalties for the club. If you are caught, you are not allowed to go to football for at least 3 years, no matter which club you are with, 1st to 3rd league
Here is Dynamo Dresden, 3rd league Germany

Thank you for the information. I Picked my first couple videos just random but after that I have been going off suggestions in chat. There are so many suggestions now I can't even keep up lol. I love it though. I try my best to read all the comments and respond to as many as I can. Thank you again for the links and I will do my best to get to them. I might be doing a livestream next week so maybe I can watch some then as well.
the fact the video showed liverpool but not any swedish clubs. England has the worst fans, wouldnt even consider any of their fans ultras.
Yeah, feels very overrated. But I guess it's a culture difference. Their chants and such 2:10 are different to the rest of Europe too
Try to react to Swedish fans they are superior, Some teams are Hammarby AIK Göteborg Malmö And Djurgården. My personal favorite is hammarby and AIK
There's ultras aaand there's 'uLtRaS' ... If you catch my drift.
Comments getting deleted for absolutely nothing again I see ... YT sucks more and more these days.
American teams will never match the Europeans when it comes to football fans.
No Celtic or Rangers???
Sorry. this is the first one I found. I will have to look for more. I think I will do Chants next

Ok I will give it a look. Sounds fun
USA pure (bad) copy Europe original. A copy makes no impression on me, as a European.
because they don't understand the purpose of sports: ritualized war.
@@Tyu-f1s We both know it, but American schooling isn't that great.
Not fair to add tifos to the European videos
@@yusefnegao As a German, I say that until a minute ago the Greeks were nice Europeans. Has something changed without my knowledge?
@@2tone753 didn’t say they weren’t
this rainbow flags always makes me laugh xD
the stadiums are save
The American ultras are not bad, but they are still far from a European level. They still have a lot to learn. An American soccer match still seems like an easy, relaxed weekend family program to me, not a BVB ultra level
Forgive my ignorance. what is BVB ultra?
@@REZZIKFC BVB-Borussia Dortmund is a German football team founded in 1909. The ultras of this team are one of the best known in Europe.
When us European rock up on US soil next year for the World Cup there will be some surprised Americans 😂
I have to say, the US has put in some work!
This fan culture exists in europe much longer, so it is only normal, that they have the better choreos and so on. 🤷🏼♂️
But the US made a lot of progress, if you compare it to the first or the second video.
Respect! 👍🏻
Have a good one! ✌🏻
Bro Europe is so much better
@ArranBuchan-d3m Good to know! 👍🏻
@@pallmall1991 didn’t mean to be rude
@ArranBuchan-d3m No harm done! 👍🏻
I see it like you, europe is much better. But I wanted to give credit to the US fans, for the progress they made.
It is not the usual picture in the US, when you look at the fans at a sport event.
And everything that's unusual, is always seen very critical. So I think it is great, what they have done in the last years. ✌🏻
No offence but MLS fans are trying to reinact europe etc
