Americans will never get the love Europeans or even South Americans have for their football clubs. They are intertwined with culture of a region or a city and are part of their daily lives since late XIX century. it's not like American sports that are made for circus shows with clubs living for 5 or 10 years of existence, depending on the money an oligarch will put on it. We have tradition. There are some exceptions like the Chicago bulls, Boston Celtics, LA Lakers, Dallas Cowboys. But even them don't even get close.
