For the past 5 years it has become a tradition for me to take my mom out for Valentine’s Day dinner. She is divorced and not currently dating so to show her some love and appreciation I like to take my mom out on special occasions. We usually go for stake but this year we chose Italian to change it up. If some how I win this giveaway I’m planning on giving the jewelry set to my mom because she never spends money on herself for nice things and her birthday is coming up in March. My husband doesn't like valentines day, so for valentines day I make a little basket for my 5 children (8, 5, 4, 2, 3 months). I get there favorite candy, and a little trinket for them. I try to do this for every holiday.
My boyfriend and I always stay in for Valentine’s Day. We cooked dinner together and watched a movie and just really enjoyed each other’s company. I also made cute little gift bags for my co-workers!

This Valentine’s Day is a little different for us! I will be working out of town and my rockstar husband is going to be pampering our sweet girls and little boy for the day. ❤ then, when I get home from my 14 hour day he is going to go into work to start his day. We have two little ones (4 & 3) so the last couple of years my husband cooked a steak dinner for all of us and we have a fancy candlelight dinner at home as a family. I have really enjoyed and think it is a new tradition going forward! 🖤

We stay home and away from all the crazies. We also love spending the time with our kids even though they are getting older and sometimes aren’t home.

We don’t do much for valentines, but I do love making a special meal (breakfast or dinner) that is Valentine’s Day themed . Heart shaped toast or a dessert that’s dyed pink. It’s awesome how special that makes the day feel.

When the kiddos are having a hard day, I bring out the notebook to remind them how loved they are and that hard times pass when you are surrounded by love 🥰
Hi Emily, we usually don’t get to celebrate Valentines Day as a couple. My husband works out of town for weeks at a time. But one of my daughters was born on that day so the kids and I celebrate her birthday with cake and gifts. She’ll be turning 5 this year! By providing dinner & snack or dessert, it frees mom up from a night of figuring out what to do for dinner, gets them out the door quicker, & helps them to focus on their marriage. My husband and I normally try to go on a date around valentines day or we leave town for the weekend. We haven't been able to leave town in a while because we have our boys now. But we definitely still try to spend that quality time with each other. I'm also a boy mom, so 3 boys. My youngest just turned 1 year old on Friday. I try to get them a Balloon with some chocolates, something small, just an extra way of showing them that I love them ☺️ And valentines grams that they give at school, I buy them one so they always get something at school.

Single mom so for valentines i usually do something really cute for my kids to let them know why i love them. Last year i placed sticky notes on their bathroom mirror and on each sticky note i wrote a reason i love them. We made matching shirts for us to wear to school and work, got them some chocolate and we usually either eat out or go to a movie. They LOVE IT!!! 🖤

for Valentines day I normally get a box of chocolate from my dad, though now that I have a boyfriend, my boyfriend and I exchange boxes of chocolates. I get the soft centers, he gets nuts and chews. We'll usually go out for dinner. BUT because we just moved, we are going to stay in the new apartment and have a home made meal, build legos, and play games. I'm so excited! I love Valentines day!

We stay home and I cook my husband's favorite meal. Seafood Stuffed Catfish with Crawfish Etouffee on top. I don't like him to spend money on flowers. But every year on Valentines Day I get one Rose for every year we been together. So this year I get 15 roses 🌹 ❤

For Valentine's, my husband and I usually exchange gifts. I usually get my Valentine's gift early because my birthday is so close to Valentine's day. I buy a little something for our son as well. We try really hard to stay away from restaurants.

I'm celebrating 28 years together with my husband. We started dating on Valentine's Day 1996, our junior year in high school. We haven't looked back since. Valentine’s Day is different now that I have my own family of 3 (soon to be 4) and I love to shower my family with love all day. From heart shaped breakfast and meals to surprise gifts throughout the day or special dinners with my hubby or as a family depending on who’s planning and how special we want to make the day! It’s definitely a day I take to show my loved ones and friends how much they mean to me ❤
I usually spend the day with the family as the restaurants and all the places are too crowded for my introverted soul hehe but a few days before or after me and my husband usually go for some treat ❤
Normally, I focus on the kiddos in my life. I’m not married and kids weren’t part of Gods plan for me so I focus on all the littles that he blessed me with in my family, friends, and church. I love surprising them with little things on days like Valentines. I do foster but I don’t have any kids at the moment and will probably close my home for the foreseeable future as I care for my mother who was hit by a truck and has a traumatic brain injury. It’s a weird life but I LOVE all the blessings God has given me.
I don't celebrate Valentines now that my children live out of state. But this year I'm using it as my way back to the Church. Ash Wednesday is the 14th and I'm going to get dressed up and take myself to Church.
