Late to the game like all my Jay's I never cop on drop day, I just got these in hand and love them and hesitated on this trade deal hard. I'm a 1 3 4 5 6 guy and always struggled with later models. But recently wore some 9s I quick flipped and some 13s and think I may start liking 8 9 11 12 13s a little more. 8s I always liked but not on foot in my size (13) and all my 11s just have always felt cheap to me. Even though concords were a dream shoe as a kid in hand I wasn't feeling it.
Got mine the other day and love them. I had the reverse version 20+ years ago when they first came out when i was a teenager - I actually outgrew them before they wore out.
This is apair that definitely grew on me over time and now I am looking forward to getting them.A bonus that it falls under the Buckets thumbs up of approval list.

Dope I got them. They remind me of the dark grey 12 with the metallic hits. You know how that shoe is different from the flint grey 12. I don’t have any taxis so these will do for me for now. Plus I love when the 12 have a dark bottom and mud guard. But I was going to pass but I decided to pick up. My tiers are 13,12 and 11, then 6,5, and 9(in dark color ways though). The tiers are based on comfort and durability.

If they kept the colorway on the bottoms and back tabs on these like taxis I wouldve loved em even more, the reds and yellows would have been everything with all the details these came with.. definitely would have made em premium for me
My opinion is that there cannot be an order or a favorite, since depending on the color combination you decide which one you like best, for example, you will not find a retro 5 grape and white color in a retro 11 or a retro 12 flu game in a 3 each one has its specialty like the white, gray and black retro ten and all the achievements under its sole 😍
