I love the studio version but this live version is captivating. The part where she takes the breath really pulls you into a more delicate part of the lyrics. She's honestly a musical genius.

The Norwegian public broadcaster "NRK" is said to be among the worlds "top notch" in video and audio setup and mixing

Doesn't surprise me. When countries are ranked by societal well-being, on literally any metric you care to look at, Norway is always in the top 3....and is usually #1. While here in the US, we're #1 at.....incarceration? The cost of healthcare? Wealth inequality? The number of reality shows? Distrust in science? We're either #1 or in the top 10 on all those. It's almost like Norway and America have.....values and ethics that are diametric polar opposites.

No, the original is not nearly this epic, with that fantastic orchestral arrangement. Still great, though, with a very cool official music video.

I you listen to spoken Norwegian you hear every vowel and consenent. Angelina Jordan is the same.

It seems to be a very articulate language. Even American English, depending on the dialect, can be rather precisely articulated. As opposed to say....French. A lot more slurry and watery and whatnot. Which interestingly makes it rather musical and beautiful in the way the phonemes flow out.
