Raynor, I had a leg massage because of broken and after it it needed surgery for knee..So, the massage woman did good job..it hurted but I saw how she worked on my leg! So I can't image how hard it is to massage toes cause they are so tiny... ?? I don't know but I felt amazing after it, I was bit of sore but relaxed and my leg did not hurt that much anymore after it was "fixed"
Same with the PF and a tiny bone spur in my ankle from multiple sprains. I went to a Reflexologist about a week ago and my feet felt like they were on clouds. She doesn’t use tools or such extreme pressure but some of her techniques are the same. Just have to keep going back weekly for about 6-8 weeks. Then every 2-3 weeks after that
How often did you treat him? Is is recommended to do such a treatment daily until it is loosen (having Hallux limitus 1-2 grade with arthritis in the joint) or better to have a break between treatments? Will arthritis stop & heal? Will cartilage regrow?
After working the toes and the ends of the bands do you usually spend time releasing the rest of the bands? I noticed that you were working his calves and shin muscles as well
Raynor, i have a question. Would your massage help with a patient dealing with major trauma to the lower extremities? I mugged and shot 10 yrs ago. One shot into my right thigh shattered my femur. There are still bullet fragments in my leg. When i could finally walk again. I have neuropathy to my leg and foot. The top side of my foot and toes are desensitized. Whereas the under side of my right foot is hypersensitive. 3yrs ago, i started forming these calluses under my right foot. I would use a peel solvent for calluses, sandpaper and pumice stone. After, a week of constant scrubbing they would fade away. I have a bit of a limp bc of my injury and under side of my foot. Its difficult for me to stand up long enough to take a shower. Let alone work and getting mundane errands completed. My doctors are telling me, i might lose my leg. Im 6'7 200. Im 32. If you have any tips or advice. Im all ears.
Hi Bo Raynor massage may help you. Our basic idea is that we find and get rid of residual muscular tension and then realign any joints that were out because of that tension. Obviously some of what you are experiencing is because of damage that your body has sustained and possibly some of what you are experiencing is residual muscular tightness. I'm sure Raynor massage could help to a certain extent but I'm not sure to what extent without looking at your leg. Where are you located?
Tight calves and Achilles can limit mobility and cause foot pain. That’s why he massages all the way up the leg. Foot pain rarely ever starts in the foot
Robert Martin underneath all the chronic residual tension. Yes that’s why I am chipping away at the straight jacket and doing life sculpting to free him up and let him out to run free. Not much fun being imprisoned in all that tension. Luckily he also worked with me to get rid of his straight jacket
Brandon, I've been very interested in this series with Ed. I was wondering though... Have you ever been kicked by a client? I try to imagine myself in Ed's position and am having a rough time imagining not reflexively kicking you at some point - not out of anger but just the body reflexing reacting as if saying "Stop hurting me!"
Lem Mann hi Len good question. The answer is that a good practitioner gets a feel for a person’s limit as to what they can handle. That limit is what we call a 10. We try and work at or under that limit, and that is unique to each individual. The deeper we can work usually means we can loosen up deep seated tension quicker and more effectively but working against someone above their limit is counter productive and will damage a person. So yes I have been kicked by someone many years ago but since then have refined my techniques to make sure I sense where their limit is so that I can work within that or if I go over it’s only slightly and I immediately sense the person resisting and I lower the pressure or intensity.
I'm in Tampa fl how do I get to you for service on my feet I have anxiety high blood pressure stomach candida burp even after water extreme plantar pain but not fasciyis and thyroid is out of wack plus hydration problems and constipation all started after I stopped being able to work out thx sincerely bryan

I never knew a foot could bend like that. I'd like to try this type of massage.
If you push someone's foot far enough the wrong way it will bend...
Ed is a true warrior
I have plantar fasciitis and multiple stress fractures in my feet:, this liters would be torture to me.
Maybe if you had it done by someone who took it easy on you it wouldn't be so bad

Is there anywhere in Dallas Tx that gives this type of service?
Yes. We have learned that if you try to break someone’s toes/foot, it does not feel good.

Not a problem. Is there another way i can keep in contact with you? Like facebook or twitter?
How does some ones foot get to this level of pain/ lack of mobility?
You walk on them daily.
Tight calves and Achilles can limit mobility and cause foot pain. That’s why he massages all the way up the leg. Foot pain rarely ever starts in the foot
