    Thank you for this video. From where can we get the video of pnf patterns D1 and D2 flexion extension??

  • @bujakasa1
    @bujakasa1 3 года назад +1

    The idea of PNF is great but most collegues are not using it to full extent. They are using it manly for orthopedic and neurological adult patients. Most therapists only know small amaunt of theory taught on Lvl 1-2. For example how the full body reacts for a certain pattern most therapists don t undrestand. This is the limit for treating severe cases of patients.

    Sir when we should use D1 pattern and D2 patterns}?

    • @PhysioClassroom
      @PhysioClassroom  5 лет назад +1

      My advice to you is to focus on functions rather than patterns.
      This will become clear of you watch all my PNF videos.
      I too learned patterns in my UG and PG bit they are of no use except that patterns help is to have a better understanding of synergist group of muscles and efficient and effective delivery of PNF therapy procedures for facilitation like stretch, resitance, timing for emphasis etc.

    Sir ..
    What is untapped protential ?

    • @PhysioClassroom
      @PhysioClassroom  5 лет назад +2

      The ability of an individual which is lying dormant or unutilized within him is untapped potential.
      Every patient has the ability to improve further provided we can device startegy to demand more effort from the patient.
      Example: you treat a wheel chair bound paraplegic patient and after intense training of a month you train him to walk with HKAFO.
      This means that the patient was having the potential or ability to become ambulatory but that potential was lying untapped in the patient.
      I hope it is now clear. 😊
