The song that led me to his music was "My Forever Friend" which touched my heart while I was doing my morning walk listening to a small radio. Quickly, I looked up in the internet the lyrics of that song, and like a fountain, I came across "fresh" water that seemed to flow every time you get water from it. I did not realize that he has songs that really touch the hearts of his listeners, me among them. Yes, he sings differently from the rest of country singers because he really feels his songs. I respect Charlies faith and his great talents as a entertainer, but i don't share his faith, but I can as a ex on the road, musician myself, I can see, some creative people get inspiration from it.Despite my own beliefs, I can enjoy gospel music as well as country, it's all good. John Lennon was inspired too, recorded 'Imagine a World Without Religion', noticed Charlie is fan of the Beatles, peace and love.
