Honestly I kind of prefer vanilla over modded. Yeah I play on ps4 so I don’t have a choice but most modded servers seem a little too easy in my opinion but that’s just from a observers perspective. Edit: I will admit that I do want a lot of the modded guns like the rpk, and other com bloc guns with some western ones thrown in.
Regarding the tent/dead body in your building: I'm commenting before I watch the rest so maybe you find out. But my guess is someone used the tent to boost into the building. The butchered body was probably either a dead teammate they cut up to "dispose" of (especially considering the gas) or someone followed them in and there was a fight. If the original booster won said fight, they may have thought the attacker was the base owner and butchered the body as a sort of greifing.

Mate the bases you have raided are temporarily bases for raiding so everytime you see them your getting raided for sure. Easy way to stop it is to move south and upgrade everything with metal so then it harder
At 31:14 I think they placed the canopy tent jumped up in that then just went on the little roof thing that’s attached to the building then jumped up or boosted through the window going to the second story part of the stair well
I think it’s the immersion of an apocalyptic world, and just securing a building for yourself, and it’s yours, you don’t know how long for, but it’s yours for that moment
Yes, I got trapped in the someone's base once in official (funny but that same house at Livonia map west side mid south you guys build base) I logged off in the house and day later logged in and I was in the base. Nothing I could do then, so nicked few thing and moved to different server.
I have never known mushrooms to be a sign that someone was recently around or that the way a zombie looks is a sign that he has been agro'd recently. Can you elaborate on those?
If you see mushrooms then players have recently visited that area, it could be your own if you haven’t moved, zombies have a certain stance if they have been recently agro’d like you see in the video, it’s a sign of nearby players
They kind of look “alert” if that’s makes sense. Like not aggro but thinking about it… lmao. Once you see it you will start to notice it more. You can also use the direction they are facing sometimes too… they have a “semi aggro” state. Best of luck!

Be careful who you trust, make sure you always have a food and water source, and means to defend yourself! But most of all, enjoy it, let the game take you on a great adventure
Great video I enjoyed it. If you want to live total off grid play on xbox (+mouse keyboard), the game is just too buggy for my PC. Would it be best to live in the woods or on a tiny island any map locations, a small building and water so go there with minimum gear and no contact with zombies or players. Levonia and chernarus really dont have that many islands, pripyat and deer island have some.

Also use fire places to climb up the apartment. I also had one there.
