it actually gets way too much attention and love, other SLW songs (like midnight owl or sugar lane) that deserve comparable recognition don't get a fraction of that attention, It was the only song (leaving aside the title theme) to be performed in Sonic symphony event, It makes no sense to call this song "underrated".
I think this is the most beautiful level of Lost World. The feel of the stage, the way how it looks and ESPECIALLY THE MUSIC (because thank god, it sounds SOOOO GOOOOOOOD). Don't get me wrong, it's absolutley not the BEST level, but it is definitley my favourite. (Sorry if I spelled some words wrong, I'm dutch 😅)
So, grind rails are kinda Sonic's cool thing you can expect every few levels. Like Donkey Kong's minecarts or Mario and Yoshi (mostly). I like them well enough, but I also kinda like when they're integrated into a "normal" stage, and it isn't just purely rails.
Same here, though I do enjoy stages with lots of rails in them too, like Final Chase from Sonic Adventure 2 and Rail Canyon Zone (naturally) in Sonic Heroes.
This game got alot of hate but IMO it has alot of hart, one of my fav Sonic games. So many more that were worse than this. What a great game and song. I dont know how many times i played this level just to listen to the music......to many times im sure. lol
I just recently played this game(Sonic Lost World) I think it's a fine game not my favorite but definitely still worth playing. And about the music, I think all official sonic games has some great background music even their mobile games like Sonic Force Speed Battle and Sonic Runners(terminated) has some great BGM.
I... hated Lost World. Sue me. Say what you will about Forces, but in the end, it’s a good game. Lost World has horrid control, writing, and gimmicks, as well as generic levels and music.
This was the last best game before mania..yet I prefer this game over mania.. If the 3DS versions zone 3 didn't consist of mainly using drill It would be my favorite variation of this level
Poorly executed Story & how the deadly six have VERY flat characters, game having multiple rough gimmicks that don't mesh with each other (I.E. Parkour, Run button, many hidden springs, twisty stages and antigravity), many levels being frustrating or a bad fit for sonic (Desert Ruins 4, Frozen Factory 2, Silent Forest 4, Sky Road 2, Sky Road 4 to an extent, Lava Mountain 2 & 3), 3ds version having an abundance of cool ideas for content (I actually 100% the game with 60 hours in) marred by basically every level starting with Desert Ruins 2 being borderline un-enjoyably tedious or hard, most 3ds levels are just hurrying to the next wisp and dying if you can't make it, and special stages having forced gyro controls. Still, I love both versions.
Not really. It just meant that I was on the right track (no pun intended), just that I needed to do at least one thing faster. Now, if I had attempted again and again and could only get 3:05.61, THAT would've made me angry.
Honestly, I am so pissed off! I have the pc version of the game, there is no rank system! And that sucks because that means sonic has just one end zone pose. WHY SEGA!?
Sea Bottom Segue is such an underrated song, really
Im not a sonic Fan but MY GOD THIS SONG QWQ I FREAKING LOVE IT WITH MY HEART AND SOUL !!!
@@Kuehnesaskia822 You opened your heart to it.

This fabulous piece of music again.
I used to play this game since I got it. This level was so emotional with its underwater nature and its magnificent theme song.
For some reason, it feels very satisfying playing this level.
If only grind rail switching was in this game.
it is just uhhhh
I didn't even buy this game, but this level feels so surreal and relaxing that it grabbed my attention. It's like some ASMR stuff watching this one.

Trust me Lava Mountain's version of this level is way more beautiful
You have better english than even some native english speakers, dont worry about it

I think you are right

I’d say Mario’s is pipe traveling
This is honestly among my personal favourite levels in the entire game.
The music is beautiful and elegant. The stage is fascinating.
That was a good S-Rank run Overhazard.
You really had a close call hitting that blade at 1:31, but I'm impressed. Thanks!
That wasn't actually a close call--since there were plenty of grind rails, I could do whatever I wanted as long as I didn't hit the blade.
Calming music combined with a non-calming stage
Combine the two, and you have a feeling of saving the world
The level gave me DKC vibes, from the minecarts to the relaxing music
Man I need to get my Wii U fix so I can play this again

Jeffrey Iverson I had to agree
Yess i remember coming home from school ad just playing this level over and over just to hear the music.
I adore Sonic Lost World, and i've being playing since the original games on Mega Drive.

This reminded me of a slow paced Frostman stage from megaman 8

1:49 Nebula - Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sky Chase
This game takes a big, steaming dump over forces...
Forces just have nothing on this game.
Beezus C Hrist no one asked lmaooooo
An0nym0us Ok so? That’s a really stupid reply like why does it matter if anyone asked?

i can't find this song on spotify it's driving me insane
There is nothing on there called Seabottom Segue by Tomoya Ohtani?
Is this Donkey Kong Country?
Maybe...
I'll give you a hint, if you jump and hold forward, you'll go faster
Of course I know that. What's more important for me is controlling Sonic's trajectory while in midair.
Overhazard Oh ok.
Edit:Ok turns out you did jump and hold forward when you jumped, didn't realise, im sorry to interrupt :)
i used to hate this level cuz i kept dying lol
Can Someone explain to me why Lost World Sucks again?

your last run had 3:05.61? man that must have pissed you off
