Didn't know if DHC would publish this vessel's arrival/departure or not and I'd never seen the Candace Elise before so I looked googled her. Between the summer of 2022 and the spring of 2023, she was outfitted with an upper wheelhouse, giving her a whole new look.
What was that practice run for? Did he have to burn off some fuel, before he could pick up the barge? The second time around, with the Candace Elise in tow, looked more like it shoulda had oughta.
I believe she was checking the conditions on the lake. They tow them out to open water, then come around and push across the lake. Hard to make that dance when it’s rough.
This fast speed with the tug is hilarious!! Lokked like " the little tug who could"!!! LOVED IT😊😊😊😊😊
us too! great weekend, everyone!
I enjoyed the video...Thanks

Love tugs even this unique one. Good hard working little boat. Safe trip.❤
Do you know where they were going, and was the barge loaded.
Super cool!
Great Video😊
Haven’t seen her do that one before!
I haven't seen this before.
Oops I forgot the barge 😳
The Candace really was something when she got outfitted with a 300,000hp engine.

Yo to the barges
can someone please explain what is going on here, why the two trips and why leave the barge all alone

@@stevekunde123 makes sense thank you
So funny!
😅
I really prefer these videos at actual speed.
The fast videos are not enjoyable.
Click the gear icon, then "playback speed"; select 0.25. That's just a tiny bit faster than normal.
@@robhay57 Thank you.
