- After a month off following Georgia-Florida Speedweeks, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series returns to action with the 'Indiana Icebreaker' on Saturday, March 23, 2024.
Tim McCreadie makes his debut in the Rocket1 house car vacated by defending champion Hudson O'Neal, who will pilot a Kevin Rumley-owned Longhorn no. 71 entry for the weekend.

There’s two things you absolutely don’t want to happen in late model racing.
Running out of tear offs, or Bobby Pierce getting to the inside of you.
You would too if you were behind a lapped car who refused to get out of the way

Bobby Pierce rammed everything but the pace car. If I were one of the lapped cars he hit in the a$$. That young man would have a big problem when he parked.

Lucas Oil Late Model Series has tried their very best to get BP to race in their Series for quite some time and Essex might just have his best Buddy racing there now and I bet we will never hear of any tire testing publicly or for shocks, wheel Speed Control units or weird looking chassis parts Ect. LOL the next DREAM TEAMS have arrived to Lucas Oil Late Model Racing Folks 😅😂 what happens in Indiana this weekend, stays in Indiana and so on and so forth at every other tracks ahead for the year 🤣🤣

What is the odds of both drivers that popped hot for cheating / altering their Hoosiers finish 1-2 in the next national race. Interesting and I wonder if their tires got tested during this race and how many times

I think Pierce was hoping to get his spot back by taking out Jackson. So many times when he’s running up front and having a hard time dealing with traffic he’ll just take a car out to get a caution and some clean air.

Working lap cars is the best part of the race. Slick tracks and lap cars separate the men from the boys.

Been to brownstown several times. Place is always slick but I will say that was a heck of a good race...
This track is entirely too flat. The leader has to run around the very bottom. Just sad .

man, when you are getting lapped multiple times as a moving road block in the feature, what are you even doing out there still?
Each position pays more money and there's no spotters in this type of racing so they don't necessarily know who is behind them

Part of racing is having to maneuver through lap traffic. Instead of moving to the top to get around the lap cars Bobby decided to be lazy and dump them. Not the lap cars fault.

I don’t have to deal with any of it because in the end I don’t care who wins as long as it’s a good race.
Anybody that sees the 32 right side door, has a good chance of also feeling it. Maybe it’s you that has a hard time dealing with the obvious that Bobby is more than willing to move anybody that gets in his way.
Everybody gets in too hot or hooks a rut and gets into somebody here and there, but Bobby is a little too consistent in rubbing is racing.
