Feel for you B-art. That was a crazy battle. This got me hooked during this lockdown and that battle was epic.
I have to agree, if was live hands down you won.
Kinda bummed about the fact that there would be no small finals. A re-match between B-Art and Villain would’ve been fire, and I was really rooting for both of them from the start of the competition as well. Oh well, really looking forward to their showcases though. Big ups to the finalists!!!

Note that i was not for or against any of the beatboxers. They are all professional people. I just want to show my support for them, whatever the outcome because they are doing next level things.

I feel so bad for b-art he’s fought d low at least 4 times and really brought his a game this time imo it was better than d-low. Definitely doesn’t help by Alexinho saying if it was live b-art would’ve won because that tells me that it looked like b-art wanted it more and I think he did and considering that’s the reason why he beat Elisii it seems unfair that the judging has changed between battles.

I think these semi’s were close and how feel dictates a lot for a beat boxer which is why the judges made the comments about feel vs point systems. I had B-Art winning on feel and Villian winning on feel but the closeness of these battles are amazing. B-art is in my top 10 beatboxers and has moved up after this.
I think b-art dlow was closer than zekka villain tbh. I think dlow bart and zekka are all in the top echelon of beatbox and villian is knocking on the door of the upper echelon but I feel like he has some refining to do before he is in it (I'm still a villain fan) .

I was not expecting that. D-Low and B-Art was mad wild so was VILLAIN and Zekka. But the rebuttals from D-Low and B-Art were crazy. Im honestly proud that D-Low moved on but it was sooooooo cloooose but the decisions have been set and ggs. Zekka and VILLAIN had wild rounds and crazy musicality and technicality in between the 2 and all the rounds blew my mind to how B-Art learned new skills and all of them so i will be looking forward to D-Low and Zekka's rounds to see what will happen.

That's the whole point. This judgind system is extremely weird and tried to judge the battles likr a machine when really it is all about the energy and the vibes and B-art just made this battle the best one from the entire event and probably the best from every online battle.

it sucks the fact that "if it was live b-art would’ve won" it seems like can help you to won (with elisii) and at the same time make you to lose, in my opinion it is a misused criterion. b-art deserved to win this battle.
Yea the judging system imo might not be equal for beatboxers. Because if someone does a bit of each of all the categories, they could score more points and beat the other opponent. Dudz for example wouldn't score that high in technicality just because he doesn't do technical beats. I feel like that is punishing him just because he doesnt do technical beats. I feel like the categories should be changed to be less specific on certain styles and just have more of a general system. I think madox made a judging system that didnt have the technicality, musicality...etc categories. His focused on the execution and the performance of the beats.

It was kind of impossible for it to be live. Europe rn is getting hit hard by covid rn and I doubt they would allow an event to take place with the crowd, not only that but it would be even harder to do this event live in zoom and last year when they did it live over zoom many had internet connection issues and many other problems. Perfect example with today's live with the huge lag.

Why are People crying about dlow winning??? He was consistently showing new and great stuff with superclean sounds while Bart had a more rough sound and was off timing in the beginning. Judges scored correctly but Bart was way better than in 2019.

Dont get me wrong I'm no pro but I had B-art up by a few points, and alot of people that reacted to this battle agree with me. Chezame, sxin, and Alem all said that B-art was better.
But at the same time I have alot of respect for Napom, Alex, and Tom. These judges are some of my favorite beatboxers and legends so I really do trust their opinion. The thing about beatboxing is that everyone interprets a performance a different way, and we are all allowed to have our opinions. This was going to be a controversial decision no matter who won, so we should all just respect the judges opinions.

Tbh, I straight up expected B-art to win. No questions asked.
But I assume the counter concept is what puts you above in points. If you can respond you can move your self up in battle points. And B-art made an opening for D-low to bring up something from before. D-low had the upper hand to counter.
But ultimately B-arts Tech is upped. Like marginally, it's unreal. I had a fondness for his style with his early stuff.
Then he felt unclean during 2018-2020 stuff.
And sadly I was actually rooting against him for the whole tournament.
But he's proved himself, I'm actually disappointed I felt that way to begin with. This was a battle I was not expecting. And he shut down every possible counter opportunity. His actual ability is unrivaled. I don't hear anyone using his Inward/click-roll combo. I've heard Both Zekka and B-art use D-lows style inward bass. And when all this started I was actually feeling biased about wanting Zer0 to be in and not D-low.
Just goes to show these people all have something to prove.
And it's that they're fighting for what they want.

Man, after seeing both rounds of Bart and Dan I have to say that for me was a win for B-art but just for a bit, now watching the results my opinion is that maybe they decide that D-low deserves to win because he is more known on bbx scenario. I don’t know man, feels bad for B-art
No it’s not a popularity contest it’s just a lot of available time for the judges to judge it on the highest critique. This would have even been more difficult if it was on stage
It's almost like you didn't listen to the judges. They gave their reasons, nothing to do with popularity. D-low performed to the judging criteria perfectly. B-art battled hard but clearly missed more points than D-low if you've been re-watching the videos. Just listen to NaPom.
