  • The Island Queen boat cruise from Parry Sound, Ontario takes passengers through some of the most scenic waterways on the North shore of Georgian Bay in an area known as the 30,000 islands, the largest concentration of islands in the world. Parry Sound is in a popular cottage area known as Muskoka and is a deep water port with a long history. HD - 1080p

With that shallow draft, it's amazing how close they can get to the shore. Nice vid Jim.

It was down right scary at a couple of points but this ship makes this trip everyday. There were a few surprising turns too.

thanks for the day trip jim, nice to get out of the shop. I was trying to imagine the landscape without trees after the ice retreated. its something I long to see as I have a big interest in geology. all the best

When I was a kid (about 6-7 yrs) we went to Manitoulin Island for vacation traveling from around Buffalo, NY and I caught a huge large mouth bass and ate the whole thing after it was filleted and cooked, I still have pictures. It's a rugged yet beautiful area, and rained a lot, at least while we were there.
