Beef is an American comedy-drama television series created by Lee Sung Jin for Netflix. It stars Steven Yeun and Ali Wong as two people whose involvement in a road rage incident begins to consume their lives. Appearing in supporting roles are Joseph Lee, Young Mazino, David Choe, and Patti Yasutake.
Beef was released on Netflix on April 6, 2023, to acclaim from critics who praised Yeun and Wong's performances, as well as the writing and directing.

This was incredible. Not many people can create a disturbing "love" story between 2 broken people without making it feel forced. This was one of the first shows I've seen doing it perfectly

This show was amazing from beginning to end. The ending was kinda poetic if you think about everything that led up to it. This show was so unexpected but fulfilling at the same time. Syntell your reactions and breakdowns are unmatched in my opinion.
I will be at complete peace if they never make another season. The way it ended was very heartwarming to say the least.
I never expected this show to have such a philosophical, abstract, absurd(ist) sort of ending but it makes so much sense in hindsight. When you have a show that does such a good job of diving into characters’ mindsets, eventually it has to go totally off the rails because that’s how people work.
The crows attacked her as she was about to shoot someone in the woods. Dick Cheney reference again. The writing in this show is so tight.
Also revenge for pointing the gun at one of them in episode 1

I think the other half to the childhood story was how Danny was born in America, but always made to feel like he didn't belong. And even though his parents wanted him, the country he grew up in didn't. Whereas Amy was used by her parents to be able to live in that country.
17:44 Both their pasts. 😕 Danny ‘befriended’ George. When he decided to go back to visit George (in order to frame Amy for his house fire) and had that physical altercation with him, he created a situation that came back to bite him in the butt. 😕

They were the ying and the yang. Polar opposites. But everytime they came together, there was balance. For instance, they both cussed out the guy in the parking lot the same.
I dont understand why I watch other people’s reaction while they watch the show instead of me actually watching the freaking show.. but this..this is entertaining 😁
Ego Death & Ayahuasca. I think they ate hallucinogenic herbs on par with whatever people take during ayahuasca retreats.
I think this was the perfect ending to the show and it was absolutely heartbreaking which is weird given how much i hate both of them...i don't want this show to have another season because they both resolved their beef to a satisfying conclusion and i don't know how the "beef" will carry on to another season...
Also great conversation at the end as well!
What a great series! Great acting performances with solid character development and a compelling storyline. Through smooth cinematography, there are numerous clues and hints.
For film students or aspiring screenwriters, this series is an excellent resource.

I liked Issac, I really did. I kept rooting for him to be a good person like he seemed to be in the first couple episodes, but after he got out of jail the second time his true colors showed. I don't agree with Danny sending him back(if he did do that, never confirmed) but Issac was about himself first, then about family. He was just as toxic as pretty much every other character, but really paralleled Danny in that they both used family for personal gain and insisted their families needed them to make themselves feel important
Danny did tip the cops about Isaac. I mean even Isaac knew Danny did it lol. Amy even confronted him about it and he never defended himself.
@@obseed3041 yeah, I'm aware. Just noting it was never explicitly confirmed. What I was saying was I don't agree with the moral implications of Danny doing that to his cousin.

Actually really want a season 2 I wanna see what happens with George, june, Paul, Danny, and amy. Feel like they could definitely add new characters too these writers are too good

What a show
great show and great discussion. I know I keep hearing murmurs about a second season but I honestly don't think we need it. the story seems to be pretty well wrapped up and I worry that another season might ruin it. but if all the same folks are involved, I'll be cautiously optimistic. as for this episode in particular, it was such a wild ride and so beautifully done. I swore they were dead or dying but was so happy when they woke up...only to have my heart broken by George shooting Danny in the tunnel. Amy and Danny are definitely soulmates in whatever way you want to look at it and they just needed to spend enough time together to see it. I like what Chuck said about Amy finally finding someone she could be herself around; Danny saw who she truly was and didn't run away. that's love right there. thanks for your amazing reactions guys! ❤

What a show, went 0 to 100 real quick
Overall they did a great job of illustrating that each time the beef escalates, there is always enough of a pause to indicate that the escalator is deciding to "Choose Violence" so to say.
We didn’t get a lot a lot of back story just snippets I’m sure for pacing of the show but I would’ve liked to see a flashback of Isaac and Danny and their dynamic as children. I don’t think the Asian kid that pushed him on the playground was Isaac . Correct me if I’m wrong tho lls

You two are a great, I really like the commentary, conversation and analogies you guys have it's pretty cool. One thing I did think was about Naomi I think she purposely moved near Amy and made friends with her to get to Gorges Father's art collection to impress Jordon and set that deal of the chair in motion cuz Jordan says who would've known that my sister in law would be living right nxt to them, get the chair, make a business deal with Amy and end up together with Naomi he's brothers wife. I think she orchestrated the whole thing, even possibly why she even married the brother in the first place to win Jordon over to be seen as successful or somebody important

Ep 10 felt like a pretentious mind-vomit by the creator.
Nah i liked it..many people feel the same way,...unfulfilled, meaningless existence despite having family, career, etc
I loved the series and did feel like the poison sequence did go on a bit too long
