Soapstone Counters Easily Handle Both Heat and Cold - NH Demonstration

nh.countertopsi... It shouldn't seem odd that soapstone can handle direct heat and cold and cold so well; after all, they DO make woodstoves out of the stuff! Nonetheless, our team member agreed to make a video, using her own kitchen counter as the proving ground.
She said, "Well, I was cooking up some chicken stock anyway, so I figured it would be a good opportunity to show people how stable this material really is. There is never any need to use a hot plate on this surface."
While she was at it, she agreed to use her kitchen counter for a few more videos, showing the features, and how she maintains it as well. Those are in a few separate videos!

dry cooking pan upside down directly on top of counter. the carver out notches allow for the water to drip down into the sink.
