@@Flare2K2 axes are good off hand weapons due their faster attack, and if you have a functioning brain the AoW can catch rolls with ease in chases. The weak power stance moveset doesn't rob that advantages a good value.
For that cave at 9:30, the enemies can become terribly desynced for cooperators/invaders that are still on the rocky path leading into the rot pool, where they will not sync their positions until you either hit them or they target and/or hit you. This is probably why we couldn't see what was attacking the hosts, because those enemies will never target an invader, therefor will never be seen by the invader. This happens on vanilla as well.
At 20:40, I think the reason it 1-shot is not only cuz guy had FireGimmeSTR buff but cuz the previous phantom you killed got frostbite proc on you, therefore lowering your damage absorption by 20%. Man that wasn't even fully charged I think, and it still ate over 2000 hp ⚰🐍
This feels like the polar opposite to the Twinaxes. The Longshaft has an amazing moveset but a mediocre Ash of Ward. The Twinaxes got a shitty moveset but an amazing Ash of War
Easily my favorite weapon of the DLC. I have always hated fromsoft PVP, mostly because of my mediocre internet making hit registration impossible to judge. This beast has now got me invading from the moment I boot the game up. Even hosted a dozen fight clubs. I do wish it was a tiny bit better at Boss damage, but it's still good. PS. In pvp, use unlocked 2 handed heavy running attacks, It catches rolls, dodges, jumps, and even great shields if you aim it right.
Oro, do you find poise, specifcally the 51 breakpoint, worth it or not? I've kind of got a little obsessed with 'must hit 51+' and I dunno if I'm just kidding myself with how useful it actually is or not?
Just a quick question about deflecting Dragon's Breath incantations, do you just need to deflect the initial hit and then hold the button down, or do you need to repeatedly press it at certain times to continue the deflections? Haven't had the chance to try it myself.
deflecting tear is incredible, but even i think its a bit too strong, it should allow scythes to bypass the block a lot more effectively, and shouldnt mitigate non-physical damage as much as it does
