They’ve made Vanguard zombies, MW3 Zombies, and they’ve helped with other aspects of all the games since Cold War. Treyarch has had 0 time to actually work on this game. Keep the expectations low. I really hope it’s good but I don’t want to get my hopes up.
This is my biggest gripe with HQ.. the last 3 CoDs have a felt like 95% the same and most likely they all will going forward. And with warzone too I can see the same feel getting boring really fast. It’s already extremely boring for me. Would love to be proven wrong somehow but just can’t see it

Yea i haven't bought since Cold War, its still pretty active, but not enough for super strong SBMM to function like it used to. As it sits i see Cold War (BO5, i guess? weird since its actually BO1.5 chronologically and they never once called it BO5...) as having been a step back in the right direction after BO4 so ill give BO6 a try if launch reviews are decent at least.

Ever since mw2019 the game has revolved around warzone. The campaign, multiplayer, and zombies are seen as a side show now. It really irritates me to see how cod can go from what it was in the past to downhill so fast in the span of five years. I’m hoping that bo6 will at least have traditional cod feeling and not warzone controlled garbage.
People said that about mw3 and look at that monstrosity it's the exact same game with like 10 mw3 guns and 200 mw2 guns it's a shit show and this will be the same :P
Here's a quick tip: people will always find something to complain about, its not a DLC, its just downloaded onto the Call of Duty app, the hub for all Call of Duty games, it wont be like MW3 (which actually was supposed to be dlc to MW2 but got so big they decided to make it its own game which i think is fair seeing how much content it added) think of it like just having to use the Call of Duty launcher to launch the game (Its really not a big deal)
Treyarch Made cold war in 6 Months and it was a 7/10. Every other game they made was a 8/10 or higher. Now with the 3 years of development I think it will be a verry good game. I just hope they bring back the normal prestige system so there is something to grind for.
Cod hq is so redundant because cod games are so big these days that I typically only have 1 downloaded at a time. We have 2 days until we see whether the game will be decent or crap.

Im tired of call of duty now being a living breathing advertisement. I hate that you need to advertise the next game in the series when im still on the current one. Things going good and seem positive? Your joking aren't you, to start you have to use Cod HQ which in itself is a disaster due to the complete layout mess and storage the thing takes. Game has been stated a DLC, game is running on the same engine as MW3 and will also be hardware compatible for last gen meaning chances are will hold the game back and new hardware won't be used to max effect. I'm sure those who are still on old gen will appreciate it and be happy but for those on new gen will probably only see a drawback in performance. Only good thing I've heard so far is round zombies.

Call of Duty keeps having the major issues with hacks and such sinply becausd they keep using the call of duty hq launcher and stopped revamping the game engines for the new big games. Until they revamp the game engine nothing is going to change with the problems with the game. And if Black Ops 6 uses a different engine it wont save space to have it in the Cod HQ launcher it would be the same as having the game seperate. the cod parent app system was put in place to put all the game in one spot but to kill out all the cheater and hacker cause it may not work in one game like vanguard it may work in MW3 so to counter it they use a parent app the dose the cheating check work for the games and so that don't need to change code from from game to a others and then they saw it as a fast simple way to change cod game with out needing to open and wait for load up time for the other game even if you got a potato pc it can help there.
If it has tac sprint and feels like mw more than cw then im not buying it. I am genuinely so bored. Unless it is fast paced and fun and still feels like cold war and as satisfying as mw19 then its just not worth it feeling like mw again

As much as I enjoy Treyarch games, BOCW launch was really bad and still is pretty buggy. I'll just wait to watch reviews and gameplay. There's plenty of better free to play games that put more effort into them than Activision allows to. Xdefiant is actually really good.

Treyarch worked on Black Ops Cold War for about 18 months before release. Black Ops 6 is looking like a 40 month development time.
