I hope not to sound condescending, but in Le Mis the character is arrested for stealing a loaf of bread. Since his backstory is the same as Le Mis, loaf of bread- loaf of meth, same same lol

Not just a funny line, but he says it expecting that something vengeful is about to happen, something he deserves, and he's resigned to it in order to make atonement. Makes the forgiveness all the more poignant.
God, for three seasons we watched Ted and Beard's amazing friendship that we didn't really know anything about. Then Ted shows Beard a video with Nate, we see the reaction of Beard and Ted, and we do not understand anything. And then Beard tells Nate this story... This is masterpiece! My favorite character was always Nate and my brother’s was always Beard. We used to fight and really dislike each other at various points for dumb reasons, and for a long time I thought our relationship would always be tenuous. Instead we now live together and appreciate one another as family but also as friends. I love this scene. My brother forgave me for so much and for that I will forever have his back.
@@joshuatorres7655 That is certainly an equally valid theory and a good analogy - especially in light of Beard's backstory. Either way though, I think Ted is going back to the US. My guess is Richmond will win the championship. Otherwise it would be like he left without finishing the job.
Oh 100% I agreed that Ted is going to the US I think he did what he needed to do and you realize that this was less focus on Ted and more focus on the other character showing us what it like without Ted
I don't think they win the championship. In the season trailer, the song says "you don't always get what you want." They don't win the championship, but Ted gets to go home to be with his son.

Any US felon can enter the United Kingdom if their conviction is considered spent. Spent convictions US felons can enter the United Kingdom if their conviction is considered spent. Spent convictions refer to those that happened over ten years ago if the prison sentence was between six and 30 months. If you're fleeing a war though you're supposed to be exiled to Rwanda.
Given that Ted and Beard had been coaching together for at least a decade when the show started, it tracks. Heck, the conviction was probably scrubbed by now.

I’m incredibly happy that we got this beard payoff. Intense but it adds way more depth to his and Ted’s relationship.

Extraordinarily intimate and authentic -- maybe the best scene (and writing) in all three seasons.
I really want to go back to the end of S2 and see if Nate is visible hiding under Ted's desk.
I checked - there is no camera angle giving you a glimpse under the desk.

I like the lighting on Beard. His eyes look completely black, almost demonic; as if he has no iris. Lifeless, like a doll's eyes...
