    Good honest vid Nenad.
    I’ve seen and read a lot of info regarding auto+ no threshold vs manual (with threshold), but there is no mention of volume. You can’t run manual sensitivity with max volume, BUT you can with no threshold. I run auto+ (no threshold) with detector volume max and avantree torus neck speaker on max and it’s unbelievable what depth I have got when working a patch. Of course a lot comes into play from day to day emi, high mineralisation, your hearing etc. I have found a .4 at 11” and then a .1 at 9”!!!measured by taking out around an inch of dirt at a time. Even turning the detector volume down one notch and I would lose the signal which was only heard sweeping the coil in one direction only, and would balance out after 2-3 sweeps. Ground balance and the signal is there again. Just a very tiny repeatable chirp. You cannot compare a target with manual sensitivity and auto+ with the same volume. Auto+ (no threshold) has to have max volume on detector and external speaker. I use avantree torus speaker on max volume so I don’t know how it works with anything else. It doesn’t work just with detector speaker. I continue sometimes running manual on targets and have yet found nothing that that auto+ doesn’t pick up easily. Try it

    Great video. I was really thinking about getting a 6000 but ended up getting the Algoforce mainly to Id lead shot. But it's impressive to see it gets that bit almost as good as the 6000 . I've got a 6"x9" Sadie but now I want a flat wound 9" lol . Thanks for sharing

      If you want to run your own external speaker, then like most detectors you need a good booster. If you want to enhance the audio with headphones, then I recommend the sP01.

      On small roughly circular pieces of gold, when using a round mono coil, the direction of swing will make very little difference. But, if the gold is an irregular shape and even more so if you are using an elliptical mono, then the direction of swing can make all the difference.

    Is the AlgoForce 1500 worth buying vs the minelab gpx 6000?

    • @diggingwithphasetech
      @diggingwithphasetech  Месяц назад +1

      The 6000 will punch deeper, it's also more automated being locked in ground tracking and having Auto Sensitivity options. However, it's also nearly 4 times the price!! AlgoForce is better in high EMI environments and can use a huge range of coils which are cheaper than 6000 accessory coils. The AlgoForce also has an adjustable threshold, threshold tone, Audio Treble, handle vibration and conductive Target ID which the 6000 doesn't have. So if you have a big budget and like the idea of switch on, noise cancel, pump coil and go, then go the 6000. If you'd rather buy something a lot cheaper that is still a capable machine, and more user customisable in terms of coils, size of power bank etc. then go the E1500.

  • @goldfools5445
    @goldfools5445 7 месяцев назад +1

    With the Algo, were you on ultra fine or fine gold?
    I think the Algo is pretty good. It’s not going to break new ground over the 6000 though. I think for the price it’s well worth its money.
    There is a bit of bullshit being said by resellers of its depth capabilities though. You have tested, I have tested and we are getting similar results. Then someone will like double the depth that we are seeing and done, new users want to believe that, as you would. Be honest guys.

    • @diggingwithphasetech
      @diggingwithphasetech  7 месяцев назад

      Ultra Fine. Depth is a tricky one, as there's so many variables. I'll let people do their own testing on that or let the videos do the talking.

    • @goldfools5445
      @goldfools5445 7 месяцев назад

      @@diggingwithphasetech people can’t do their own testing prior to purchasing. That’s why we need to show the reality of what is the likely expectation. Of course, different ground, different coils will bring in variables. But a reseller saying to a potential buyer, it can detect to 500mm.

      Honesty is everything in this industry. With a 15 or 16" NF, I can air test an aussie 5c at 33 cm. Lightness, ground handling, sensitivity, adjustability and price are its strong points.

      Probably. High Freq VLF units excel on that type of gold, but mineralisation is always the opposing factor. They can't punch through high iron soils like Pulse Induction units can.
