Lots of people love Fenyx Rising. It was just cool to hate on it becuase it was an ubi game so the hivemind did just that. But when you look around you can see that most that played it enjoyed it.
We just wanted to say thank you SO much for this detailed and thorough review! 😊💛 It means the world to us to have this feedback. We wanted to let you know that we are working very hard on an action plan / roadmap to address the feedback we've been receiving around combat impact, movement, inventory space, and more, so we hope you stay tuned! 💛 Thank you so much for supporting our debut self-published game. From the bottom of our hearts, we are immensely grateful to everyone's support as an independent studio!
It's a world we hope gets a chance for us to explore more of in the future. All feedback aside, we had an enjoyable time, and we hope the team is genuinely proud of what they created.
A fantasy battlemage immersive sim is just... The coolest thing. Definitely getting this asap. It felt great to play despite a little jank with the ice aiming.
This hits me in my creative Double AA niche side that i really love. I have already started my playthrough and i gotta say, the way you can mesh and interact with the world and your magic is very enjoyable. If you're a regular gamer, i do suggest just starting on Hard off the bat. I can appreciate allot what these devs are doing
Played the demo for a couple hour's What stood out was the moment-to-moment combat! Absolutely brilliant all the way down to having a fantastic Parry System. Based on that I just breezed past any downsides I noticed. It really does feel like Breath of the Wild Meets Shadow of Colossus, and That's enough for me I'm waiting for Game pass release.
Game is very optimized game it worked on gtx 1650 4gb graphics card.i played on high settings getting good fps . Truth by me as I have played wuthering waves and genshin impact as well as many games like witcher 3 wild hunt😊
are there just 9 big Enemys that you randomly cycle through after campaign to farm your progressed gear ? Or is there any postgame content after that ? I mean killing the 9 Bosses gonna be fun for 15-20 times each, but after that is there anything else , or gonna be added as free Update ? Thanks for the answer
Game is a self contained single player experience. Do everything as it becomes available. You are free to mess around in the world post campaign, but it's usefulness is for actually completing the campaign.
@@leoleo1035ehh, I loved the game, but after defeating the Herald Sev has a quest, a quest that I thought was going to be a fun little post game quest line, but it was just doing 2 things and that’s it. It was somewhat disappointing. Not to mention, the herald was one of the easiest fights in the game. I struggled more on the destroy surgeborn nest quest than the Herald. The herald fight was a disappointment. Ending the game on an easy boss is just a little upsetting.
Yeah, combat def needs some tuning. Enemy attack visibility is janky, attack magnetism feels bad to deal with, hitting a enemy and they get moved back too far to hit a second time is pure lack of oversight. Haven't gotten too far in, I will say, the writing is SOO SAPPY. Thankfully it's not full of quips, but dear lord, I wish it was written more Adult and less Disney. For the world your in, the convos tend to be far to light hearted. The VAs however did a fantastic job delivering lines, zero complaints in that regard.
I love Immortals. Im playing this, but its not clicking with me. The thing im not liking is the combat. Im really trying to like it, but i dont want to force myself to play it
Game looks like a drag gameplay wise I strongly advise everyone to try the demo before losing money. Wait a few month till they iron out the boring mechanics
No section about performance? From the gameplay, it looked rough. Speaking of which, the gameplay itself doesn't look very polished. I'm hoping they will fix these things, then maybe I'll buy it otherwise will have to pass.
This game felt meh to me. VA, dialog, and story was rough. Combat felt kinda janky. I know the game has yet to release, so hopefully the combat gets fixed and the other things get polished. That happens and I may change my opinion.
Tried it for 2 hours, floaty/weird movement and combat that did not feel good, ewwww, refunded, logged back into Wayfinder to clense my movement/combat, stylized, cartoony game world pallette.
Comparing this game with Fenix Rising is like comparing a Mercedes CLK with a Fiat Punto!!! You tried with an elevated track to give empasis on combat where in reality it is subpar without weight.
They're a AA studio without any massive funding. Genuinely a solid first game by this studio. I think it's safe to assume they'd do more if they could.
@@LegacyGamingUS A solid first game was Kena:Bridge of Spirits, very similar game but executed well. There is a lot of competition out there for our money, this kind of mediocre attempts aren't gonna make studios grow...There are studios that were put out of business with better titles than this one. I wish them the best however!
There's an overall generic look to this game that's a real turnoff. It reminds me of playing Skylanders back in the day, But that was like 15 years ago and was fun for what it was. This is too stylized and obvious in its approach.
It's boring AF and more a visual novel, WAAAAY to much dialogs and constant backtracking, janky controls and boring tedious gameplay, visuals are pretty but that's it, got it from Gamepass, not for me but to each his own
Beyond sick of abrasive girl-boss characters! Also it's clear one of the devs priority is DEI/ESG. It's laughable how many diversity boxes they tried to tick. We must show women are just as good and strong as men physically. They couldn't just make a good game they had to push the progressive agenda. A shame.
idk man, usually we call out forced things like that, but things felt very smoothly written and natural in terms of how people would actually talk to each other.
What about her specifically made you feel that way when you played? And what about the older female characters in gaming like Samus, Lara Croft, Bayonetta, etc?
Games don't Have to be Super Long for Me! I'd Personally rather have a Short but Sweet Experience! Compared to a Hundred Hour Game Regurgitating the Same things Over and Over to Artificially Inflate Game Time! imho btw If it is a Fresh 100 Hours nothing wrong with that Either! :)
@@YoungProfessorUtoniumI will say complaining about 45 hours is just weird, but I do dislike that I finished the main story in just 7 hours of gameplay. I wish the game was longer

nope
didnt know it existed
YEP !
Yes, but I’ll have to put this game on the back burner and hopefully one day get to it. Too much competition for my time.
Yes
I was one of those people that loved Fenix rising. This looks on par! Hadn’t seen anything about this one previously.
Gameplay wise its not really like it at all, outside of the art. It is more like Monster hunter, shadow of colossus and zeldaish
Fenyx rising was amazing!
@@Sunnyside845 It was awesome! Sad how it was slept on

My big takeaway is being proud of a new studio that didn't get overly ambitious and yet managed to create a unique experience
I hope the game does well enough to warrant a sequel because I want to see the devs tackle more elements like lightning and wind to spice things up

Just bought this in PS5 and love it. Some things I can see that need improvement but I put 3 hrs into it last night and enjoyed it!
Finally an in depth review that does this game justice! Thanks. ❤
Never heard of this game and now I need to play it! Thanks for the vid!
There is demo out, and I HEAVILY suggest giving it try because the game has potential but is super janky

Gamepass! 😊
This looks and sounds great. Thanks for the review.
Enjoyed the demo. Really looking forward to this one. Thanks guys!
It plays quite well! The scenery is beautiful
Artstyle somewhat looks like Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Gameplay looks awesome, I’m in! Cheers from Singapore 🙏🏻
Reminds me of Kingdoms of Amalur, gonna keep an eye on it.
That Game is Sweet!
The devs very much deserve our full support. Gonna jump in
it is in the xbox game pass for everyone who wants to try it out

The art style and the way the story is told is very Wayfinder.
It is, but with bad movement/combat...I found Wayfinder much more fun to play
Seen it on game pass. Definitely gonna try it out tmrw after work.
This is a fully sick game I’m loving it bahaha 😅🤷♂️
If I played Zelda, Collosus and Immortals already, should I even start this? Is this game has something new?

Any idea how many dif. weapon types available & are there weapon skills or just these 9 spells? Thanks.
There is Sword & Shield, Bow, and 2 Handed Greatsword. Each of those have 3 elemental variants with unique abilities.

Congrats bro I lasted 45 minutes I gave it a shot it’s definitely not for me character feels way too floaty I was hoping for sharp botw gameplay 😢
Are there a good number of different huge bosses?
9 in total (1 for each ability you learn)
