As a woman, it's unfortunate to see so many women who still believe these situations can be changed with "love" and education.
She could be talking about the prison system and you'd never know it. So many female activist go and speak to criminals and are shocked at how "individual" presenting they are.
The problems she speaks of are the same problems majority black schools have always had, and always will have, because it's genetics. Maybe one day she'll understand she's been given an impossible task that no amount of money or highly qualified teachers can solve.
It's the feminisation of these institutions that has caused most of these problems.
Discipline would likely benefit these students more than extra "love and compassion." Too bad educators have abandoned every form of discipline long ago. Now they wonder why the classrooms are chaos and the children are unruly.
There will never be equality between blacks and whites, the issue is in seeing a disparity and assuming unfairness, which is incentivized in a multiracial democracy.
A benevolent government would still govern blacks in a way to bring out the best of them, and it would probably govern them differently than it would whites.
You might even set them up with their own ethnarch who would be better able to understand his own people.
All of this is pie in the sky, though. All individuals in multiracial society can hope for is to get away from them, or at least get to middle class semi-rural areas where the blacks you encounter aren't as bad.

Based on what she says about the kinds of kids that are at the school she works, I would assume they have (if nothing else) a decent basketball team.

Been following for at least a year now, but also started Twitter in 2020 & have a similar attitude about the different areas within.
It is great to find, as a parent, that what I've said for many years (before we started homeschooling in 2015), was that one of the best things a parent can do is first read to their children, then instill a love for reading. I was that way, and my wife and I have apparently done it w/our children.
"Tuesday and Thursdays you're at home with Mom and Dad.." LOL, we are so doomed. IF a kid is lucky enough to have two parents at home, they are probably both working so they can afford to buy more useless junk or make ridiculous house and car payments. There is no plan to stop the downward spiral.
Unfortunately, that is the social construct we are in since WWII.
My personal belief is that if you drop the personal income tax, you can drop some social welfare programmes (daycare subsidy, etc.) which in turn can lead to having 1 parent at home, and 1 parent working. But, yeah, your analysis of either buying toys or paying for shelter and transport at ridiculous rates is apt. It's gluttony. Pure and simple.

I know she probably isn't allowed to talk about these things as a state employee, but I feel like there was an elephant in the room about the educational environment that never got addressed. I also understand why Alex didn't press the issue, but I think it was less productive because of it.
There's no way to be productive about it, and it was also addressed.
These problems sound like the normal “inner city” school problems since urban rent controls and integration happened. The problems in suburban America is fat obese kids and adolescents too dependent upon their parents for getting around eating garbage calories.
If order is not enforced from the top, then there must at least be honor, in order to regulate the horizontal expression of force

honestly, everything has gone to hell, and I don't really see a way out. Unless you're a woke zombie or a deranged loon, all you're permitted to be is a smiling yes-man.
@kresimirvunic5589 I think there is an honest pushback. The issue is that we need to push back by having our own families becoming the solution to the problem, because greater society believes there is no problem and therefore no need for a solution.
The more people who are able to offer a counter-narrative, not just by words, but by actions, the more it opens society up to realising there are major social and cultural issues.

What surprises me is the following: why wont that horrid Judith Butler engage in a debate with for e.g. Jordan Peterson if she stands behind her putrid 'gender theory'?
Ultimately, more people simply need to leave more of an embodied life and leave a better example to those who are younger.

@@superdeluxesmell I would have to find the actual study on the topic but the research shows that homeschooled students that are in structured system outperform public school students but that homeschooled students that are in an unstructured system tend to perform worse.

This maybe a little crude but I need people like your guest to grow a pair.
Call it as you see it...balls and strikes. Don't try and sugar coat it to make it taste better or dance around it to distract from the truth. This is a large part of the problem in the west in my opinion.....we can't be honest with each other and are worried about hurting peoples feelings.
I also disagree that literacy would improve attitude, especially in teenagers. That would just allow them to write a complete sentence online instead gibberish they do now.
They aren't stupid, blacks value different things. And they are winning for it.
I appreciate your comment, but this woman is taking a brave step in the right direction, and is probably doing far more than most people in the educational field to bring the truth to light. Who knows what kind of risk she's taking by even appearing on Alex's great show? Where she's at is a good start. I would encourage everyone to start taking small steps like this lady is doing, if they aren't doing so already.
She could lose her job, career and ruin her entire social life for telling the truth. The West hasn't fallen because people need to "grow a pair," part of our decline is the insidious social structure that has been imposed upon us.

Do all children really need a complete liberal education? If neither the kids nor parents are interested in seeing them succeed academically, maybe they would be better off pursing other avenues, such as direct apprenticeship into a vocation once they've received a basic education. I believe something like Germany's three-tiered school system might be a better model for education.
I think our overly optimistic egalitarian sympathies in America have distorted the reality that not all people are created equally in the sense of their educational competency. Thus, forcing the same educational expectations on all people is a foolish and wasteful proposition.
There is more tip-toeing around the real problem here than i have ever seen, but i don't see what else she can do while showing her face on the podcast.
That being said, when I listened closely, some thinly-veiled harsh truths were stated...

@alex Please have no white guilt on your channel!! He has actual basic implementable steps/ ideas that can be shared widely among the population rather than just the constant debate/ discussion in dissident right wing circles.
