@@obi-twokenobi4861 Yeah i know that and i respect their opinion, even though i disagree with them. Let me tell you that there are 2 types of viewers that watched the show.
There are casuals like me and there are those who play League of Legends.
For a casual viewer like me, knowing nothing about the game, or lore, Vi carries the first 3 episodes on her shoulders, if it wasn't for her being a badass since the beginning i wouldn't have continued to watch the show meanwhile Jinx is a sweet but a weak child that gives Vi and the others only problems even though Vi supports her all the time.
After the third episode we see them grown up and Jinx is like a psycho killer, meanwhile Vi even though 7 years in prison, still have a heart of gold, still trying to find and save her sister, avenge Vander's death and is more built, sexy, badass and cool than ever.
I'm pretty sure that about 70-80% of casuals like me, think that she's the main character.
For me is one of the best characters of any show or movie i've seen.
Now for those that play the game, Jinx is the most loved character. She is the face in the posters of the game, the song "get Jinxed" was the first collaboration between Fortiche and Riot and made Fortiche famous and maybe was the cause to start the Arcane project. The song "Enemy" of Imagine Dragons was Jinx oriented and also made her more famous.
Now there are 200 million people, that play the game, a game where Jinx is nr. 1, loved by 30% of the players and it means that about 70 million people are Jinxs simps 😂
Vi in the game is a fucking cop. I would have hated Vi myself if i played the game coz everyone hates cops 😂. The question is how many of these 200 million people that mostly love Jinx and hate Vi have seen the show? My guess is most of them.
My other guess is that they will support Jinx and hate on Vi in every video, comment or where ever they can because is hard to accept that this ugly on game cop is the best character of Arcane 😂

She carries the first bunch of episodes, is the hero for the rest of the first season and the second season starts with her and piltover. Although I'd argue that most of the characters are main character depending on which plot line you aee following

The fandom loves to blame vi for the way powder turned out, when really she was showing signs of being jinx even when she was powder. Also, keep in mind she grew up with silco who was s “villain” and probably taught jinx how to be like him because jinx looked up to silco. None of this was vi’s fault but the fandom believes that every problem in the show springs from vi when really, she just tries to fix things and make everything better and overthinks every decision to where she ultimately sometimes chooses wrong because she is just trying to help, thinking of every outcome in a life or death quick thinking situation is super stressful and your brain becomes foggy from what may be the right decision to most. Plus, she’s heavily traumatized meaning it’s even harder to think of what to do in the things she goes through because she’s trying to be brave, she’s trying to do what’s right, but on top of all of that she’s trying to hold herself together. We only saw vi break down twice in this entire show, as a child, and as an adult. I’ve heard people say that they hated how vi started being more emotional and broke down more than usual but keep in mind by the end she had lost everybody. She cried when she lost vander because she already had lost him once and didn’t want to lose him again. The fandom never understands that vi is just like jinx and they probably share traits, (they both most likely have schizophrenia and depersonalization but jinx just deals with it while vi just punches somebody.) but still, this fandom never appreciates how deep vi’s story arc really goes.
Sorry for the rant, I’m tired, a vi Stan, and I relate to vi lol
