Bro I’m a flight attendant for a major us airline. Your video got recommended in my page and just watched the whole thing and I gotta say this is a super awesome video and thank you for making my job easier. You are awesome brother
I love this video! First time going on a plane on Thursday! Going from Chicago to Las Vegas. I’m not scared of flying just anxious about what to expect and going through security. These are great tips! Thank you
@@kamgerald1872 it was great! Everything was smooth. I flew with United. Little to no turbulence. Only thing I don’t like is if you’re sitting next to a stranger and they keep putting their arm on your remote for the tv 😆
This is my first time flying too, and the airport tips and plane tips, really helped me know what I need to do and it helped me calm down. Thanks again
Great video! I would add taking a little bag with some cleaning wipes or even one of those UV light sanitizers, and packing a luggage tracker. Personally, I can't travel without my gego tracker. It has helped me locate my luggage on many occasions. One time, I ended up helping the airline finding my missing luggage, as they couldn't locate it.
Wait so you can take an empty water bottle and fill it up before getting on the plane? All this time I thought the only beverages allowed on a plane were the overpriced ones that you spend nearly $10 on lol
At some airports you can take FROZEN ice (NO Water can be in it). Take it out your bag and let security know it's ICE before it goes through the scanner. I haven't had any problems. If it's an airport that doesn't allow it and make you throw it out you still have your water bottle.
I'm from Barbados 🇧🇧 and tie my flag/bandana to my luggage handle. That way I spot the flag before my luggage (black, white, pink....I think ALL bags 🎒 are mine until I see my flag!! 🤭)
My very own tip: when you first get your boarding pass, go to you gate BEFORE exploring any duty free, stores, restaurants. This helps you remember the exact place your gate is if the gate starts to board
Videos like this are something I could watch for a while because when I get older I wanna move to Ohio and I live in Florida right now do videos like this are very helpful for me when I get older
A few more tips:. Boarding starts 30 minutes before takeoff, and the doors are closed ten minutes before takeoff. Remember, it can take some time to park, get through check-in, get through TSA and, get to your gate. There's nothing more annoying than the person who didn't plan an early arrival to the airport and is panicking and asking others to cut in front of them. Show up AT THE AIRPORT at least an hour and a half for domestic and two hours before international flights. It's better to be chilling at the gate than being told you just missed your flight. Don't joke with anyone, especially TSA about weapons... Yes, I have heard people say, "hope they don't see that bomb in my case". It's not funny and may get you searched and banned. Don't be a jerk who puts both bags in the overhead bin. If you are too cheap/scared to check your bags, then store your carry-on in the overhead and your smaller bag in the seat in front of you. Shoes stay on! The last time that carpet was clean was when the plane first went into service... Ewww... And trust me when I say most people don't want to see your gnarly feet. Not every one wants to make friends. Please be polite and let your seatmates have some quiet and downtime. Polite introductions are fine, but many folks travel frequently and enjoy taking a break on the plane or getting some work done. When exiting, it goes from front to back, row-by-row. Do not push ahead of everyone unless you are going to miss your connection, then ask politely of you can move ahead. Most people are very understanding. Finally, thank the flight attendant(s) for a nice flight. They have to deal with some pretty rude people, it's nice to get some recognition.
I always tell myself to be at the airport 3 hours before flight, domestic or international, even if I am late, I won't missed my flight. I did missed my flight once, but that was from taking the bus to cross from Guangzhou, China to Hong Kong airport to catch Qatar Airways and going thru custom! the freaking line was just too long!
@GoGo the airlines I've flown with typically board 30 minutes before departure. But I can't tell you how many people I see running up five minutes before departure and can't understand why they are too late to board.
Hopefully each has their own ticked seat and will be in their car seat. I’d suggest wearing one baby and have a cheap double stroller for older kid and carryons. Can bungee cord the car seat to a luggage cart or your rolling suitcase.
Thank you man I’m flying this summer and haven’t flew for a good while and this is a very good refresh of what I will need to do keep up the good work with the videos man
Flying for the first time this summer.. your video was very helpful.. gonna get the tsa precheck lol i already have anxiety and wanna have everything ready that can make it a lil easier
Everything was good over all except for limiting fluid intake on a plane !! You need to hydrate yourself on planes !! We need to drink water to prevent blood clots from forming on planes !!! Very very important !!! As well as do leg/ foot exercises every 30 minutes & move around every hr. And yes drink enough water 💧 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️💞
Best tip for preventing your ears from popping is to use Afrin maximum strength nasal spray when you get to your seat! My ears were hurting so bad my first time flying and this is the only thing that has ever worked for me.
I still have vivid recall of a flight from JFK to Boston Logan where my friend and I literally ran up to the boarding gate just as they were getting ready to move it away from the plane, showed our tickets and got on the plane. What security? It was just like a scene from a movie. Even though I rarely fly, I sure miss the old "FREE" United States of America.
I always get TSA pre check automatically yet I never signed up. And that was 4 trips, all round trip. I know you can get it randomly, but so far I'm 4 out of 4 lol One tip I would add is to register as a citizen abroad when you go outside your own country. Better safe than sorry in case you get seriously lost or run into trouble. For American citizens, it's completely free to register and takes a few minutes online.
My tip is you can save $10 on your checked bag for a RT flight (or $5 one way) by paying in advance. Bags are now $35 each way so buy your bags at least 24 hours before check in to save a couple $$! Sidenote: idk if this is for every airline but, I've been able to do this with United and Jet Blue.
Omg... I didn't have a pen with me and it took me soo much longer to get through cus I had to keep asking for a pen and no one wants to cross-touch anything cus of covid!!
Good to know that the bottle filling stations are still open on water fountains. I drink a lot of water and we are headed to Mexico (hopefully!) in February.
Since we are now the era of Covid, I would suggest bringing a small pack of disinfecting wipes, to wipe down the seat, seat belts, armrests and the tray in front of you..
Carry a tsa size bottle filled with antibacterial hand soap. Due to the pandemic, maintenance has been on point with it in the bathroom but just in case, I personally prefer to bring my own.
I have tips and tricks for making good video: Let your wife do the talking. And if you have black luggage, buy a can of spray paint with bright color and spot paint it outside.
GET A NECK PILLOW !! They are absolutely essential especially when one is in the middle seat, don't wanna end up resting your head on a random stranger's shoulderrrrr ew.
Great video! The only thing I disagree with you on is the curbside check in. Ive never encountered a fee but a "tip" is always appreciated. A 5 or $10 tip is well worth it to me as apposed to going inside the airport and standing in those long lines....
My first flight in many years, I was standing on the security line and didn't realize I had to check in first. Needless to say I was late and they gave away my pre-paid window seat and checked my carry on bag due to no more overhead compartment space.
@2:09 - Correct! That’s only for carry on. If you check in your luggage, it must be in a clear quart sized bag. Liquid can exceed 3 oz and bottles don’t have to be clear. Other then that, your tips were awesome! Thnx!
I've seen passengers wearing pajamas, house shoes and carry plastic bags for luggage. Clearly an indication of a lack of class and usually the type person who causes problems.
Personally tips: get there an hour before take off. Boarding is 30 minutes before and gate closes 10 minutes before take off. Have an empty water bottle. Avoid wearing a belt if you can. Shoes that are on/off easy. If your gonna wear a coat make it an easy on off one. If you carry a laptop or big battery keep it where you can get it out of your bag quickly. Everything it’s about accessibly when you pack. If you fight has assigned seating get on last. If your flying someone like south west check in 24hours before and get on first. If you want headphone or pillow get them out of your bag BEFORE take off especially if you bag Is over head. If you are going to check luggage then pack 1 extra set of clothes in your carry on incase it get lost.
We're getting ready to travel to our daughters destination wedding..I thought I'd get some tips on RUclips. Putting heavy items in your personal bag is life changing. I didn't realize that doesn't get weighed. This is especially useful traveling without a checked bag.
bruh im going on a plane in a few months and im so scared about not being able to figure out where to check in at or even find where to go through security or the gate for my plane. Im so worried ive never been to an airport. makes it worse that it's not a direct flight, there will be a layover. :((
You’ll be fine. Make sure you show up even earlier then normal just to calm your nerves. When you get to your layover city ask an employee what’s the quickest way to your next gate.
Luggage tip: get a string that’s colored a bright color for example red, blue, green, etc but tie it on the top of the luggage like a ribbon so that you know it’s 100% yours
Thank you for your tips! I’m kinda nervous about traveling alone on a plane the last time was a trip is with other people. This is the very first time alone and I just hope I won’t get lost.
More and more frequently, the TSA scanners do not require you to remove anything from your carryon, e.g. laptops, liquids, etc. Look for a sign near the tubs. Usually there is a small sign telling you whether or not you need to remove items from your bag(s).
I’m allowed to take snacks on my carry on!? I thought food wasn’t allowed. I’m flying out in a week with my son and snacks would be great to keep him distracted with something.
A few more tips from someone who's flown in excess of 1,000,000 miles on commercial flights: 1. Avoid checking bags if at all possible. 2. See #1. 3. Anything can make your bag stand out. Tie a bandana or scarf to the handle. Put a piece of brightly colored duct tape on the bag. I've used an old Army PT belt. You don't have to spend more money to make your bag stand out. And ... if you don't check your bag, you won't really have the identification issue. 4. Digital boarding passes are nice, but, like Caesar said, paper never fails - unless you lose it. Put your paper boarding passes in a brightly colored folder or envelope in your carryon. 5. Along with everything else Caesar said about dressing comfortably, wear slip-on shoes and stuff you jacket in your carryon before you go through security (in addition to anything else on your person or in your pockets that can't go through the scanners). 6. You won't need your ID to board the plan (once you've cleared security), just your boarding pass. 7. If you are selected for additional screening on an international flight, don't panic (unless you're a drug mule). With as many miles as I've logged, I've been selected several times. Never a strip search or body cavity search. 8. Use spinner bags for your checked bags and two-wheeled bags for your carryon. 9. Many times, if you volunteer to be bumped from your flight, you'll get other perks like seating upgrades, more snacks, free booze, etc. 10. If you do need to use the restroom on the flight, the best time to do it is about 35-40 minutes before landing. This avoids the last-minute rush of inexperienced travelers. 11. Security scanner lines are a lot like grocery store lines. As soon as you pick one, another one will move faster. Generally, avoid lines with families, individuals in wheelchairs, and individuals who don't appear to be preparing for the scan. (Nearly impossible, I know.)
I'm flying to Houston Texas in 16 days! I'm airplane crazy! Though I'm 10-14, my dreams of being a female pilot will never fade! 8th time flying and I'm proud!!!
Ohhhh, I love your wife's choice of snacks - sour gummi worms, circus peanuts and dubblebubble jawbreaker gumballs - my kind of good time - my kind of gal
Very good video with great tips, but only for people, who don't fly often. Nothing new for me. They will not charge you for checked-in bag is the overhead bins are full, it will be complementary (at least, with United)
I have nearly 4 million air miles. Yours is one of the few "tricks and hacks" videos that actually make sense. Here's another tip for black bags (or any color). Buy a pair of cheap, colorful socks and tie one sock and the handle of each of your checked bags. That way you simply look for your ugly socks.
@@CesarCinema Thank you! Just checked in today online and got my boarding pass on the app learning everything I can to get to concourse D. What would be faster the plane train or the escalator?
Another one is: saving your itenery as your lock screen so you don't have to log in to your email and its quicker.

If you should not pee in the plane’s bathroom why would you brush your teeth in the bathroom. Never been on a freezing cold flight.
Thanks for adding those tips!!
All this information was very HELPFUL. Going on my first flight in August these tips I jotted down in my phone.
Thank you so much
Yup no problem and thanks for taking time to comment 😁
I'm flying to Houston Texas in 16 days! I'm airplane crazy! Though I'm 10-14, my dreams of being a female pilot will never fade! 8th time flying and I'm proud!!!
Nice. Stick with your dreams ✈️
I dont think those 3.4 oz containers need to be clear, just the bag
Thanks man i gotta fly alone for the first time in a couple days. Excited but nervous.

Great tips! My tip? Bring HEALTHY snacks!
So wait….. you can take snacks passed tsa and on into the plane????
great video! also ❤️ HEALTH TIP #1: WEAR A MASK ❤️
Thanks 😊
FYI, apparently, since you made this video, TSA is requiring you to put any and all food items in a clear bag for going through security.
Ohhhh, I love your wife's choice of snacks - sour gummi worms, circus peanuts and dubblebubble jawbreaker gumballs - my kind of good time - my kind of gal
IKR! I normally don't bring snacks but I think I will my next trip!
The circus peanuts are mine, she hates them lol
Hi I am flying from one state to another do we need papers with negative test results
As a airline staff member, these are all good tips.
Thanks Frankie I appreciate it.
Bro....please creat a video about connecting flight
Very good video with great tips, but only for people, who don't fly often. Nothing new for me.
They will not charge you for checked-in bag is the overhead bins are full, it will be complementary (at least, with United)
I have nearly 4 million air miles. Yours is one of the few "tricks and hacks" videos that actually make sense. Here's another tip for black bags (or any color). Buy a pair of cheap, colorful socks and tie one sock and the handle of each of your checked bags. That way you simply look for your ugly socks.
Thanks 🙏🏻
Your wife doing the cha cha slide on the cruise was a vibe 🌺✨
Before tsa, Can snacks be open or do they need to be right off the shelf?
Tips are actually on point.
I appreciate it 🙏🏻
Subscribed for your reaction at 2:29 🤣🤣 but also the tips. Thanks 👍🏽

how can i make sure i’m one of the early ones to get on the plane?
It depends on the airline bc some use zones and you have to be in the first zone.
Nice jumpsuit 👀
