Heaven and hell is a freaking masterpiece! I’m scared to say I wished it was longer, because I think making it like a snippet or short song adds to the epic.
When Kanye said the label released this album without his consent I felt like shit, but I couldn't stop myself. "Come to Life", "Heaven and Hell", and "Believe What I Say" are hands down some of my new favorite Ye tracks of all time. Edit: I think Fantano will give it a 7 Mos Def. There is some of his best work on here and the worst songs on this album still aren't as bad as some of the worst Kanye tracks. Your 6 prediction is pretty solid but the 7 just really seems right. Personally I feel it's an 8, but I wanted it to be the 3rd 10 this year SO BADLY.

Absolutely love this album! (Granted, it took me a listen to get used to how experimental it was.) Jail, Hurricane, New Again, Pure Souls, Heaven and Hell, and Come to Life are my favorites. ♥️
They just want songs that are catchy and that they can dance and make Tiktoks to all day😒 most people I’ve seen have said it’s too religious or stuff like that and I’m just like, how can y’all not appreciate great music! I feel like people who’ve never made music or tried to make music will never fully appreciate art like this because so much goes into these songs, beats and lyrics! People have bad taste in music
I listened to every song. Here's my problem with it. It's TOO "artistic". This is not what I'm looking for in an album. I can only bump like 5 of the songs on the album on aux, the rest are much too boring. I'll give you an example. The last 2 minutes of Pure Souls is the exact same thing. Over, and over, and over again. This happens on a lot of the songs, especially the ones that are 5+ minutes long. These songs are trying too hard to be meaningful. The last third of New Again is "Make me new again" over and over again. I DON'T want to listen to this repeatedly. I want a song that I can bop my head to, or appreciate lyricism, or a catchy melody. I don't want a song that repeats the exact same thing over and over again just because those words mean a lot to him. But holy shit is Moon beautiful. Fivio goes hard as fuck. I still hate the way Playboi Carti raps, and it's a complete contrast to the instrumentals, so I'm confused on the artistic direction Ye took there. I'm going to do a full listen to the album again tomorrow to see if my opinion changes, but personally people are hyping it up wayyyy too much. How the fuck can you bop to the songs when they're slow as shit? It seems like people are dickriding so hard. For example "Heaven and Hell" top comment says "Gonna break my neck bopping to this masterpiece" when it's not a song you bop to. In short, nobody would ever play these songs at a party, or in the car. I'll listen to this album when I'm wallowing in my own struggles and looking for inspiration, but not when I'm trying to enjoy music. And what the fuck is wrong with mainstream pop? Kanye fans are freaking out about how criticisms are just "people trying to be different" but the rap community is so fucking toxic about mainstream artists like Lil Nas X, Olivia Rodrigo, BTS, simply because they're popular and catchy. Do you guys hate catchy songs or something? Or are you just mad that catchy songs get more listens than hard instrumentals with shitty vocals (looking at you, every single song on WLR)?
@@tommyn3522 I don't know, there are a lot of pop haters but most of the fans of this album don't listen to just catchy shit and prefer other aspects of music more. For example, I absolutely love heaven and hell because of the build up and the sheer grandiosity of the choir backing his verse. One of my favorite tracks. People enjoy art differently and that's fine. I think it's a little bit of an oversimplification to call something bad just because it doesn't adhere perfectly to the way you interface with the music and what you enjoy.
@@tommyn3522 we’re not mad we’re disappointed with what music has come to the fact that you don’t have to put much effort into something and get so big isn’t fair and sone of the shit ain’t even catchy for us cause we have opinions too and are we not gonna talk about how the bts community is 10x more toxic than any other let’s be for real here I admit a lot of the rap community is toxic but don’t act like other communities don’t have toxic fans you can’t judge people because the other people in their community are toxic speaking about that I don’t hate peoples that like bts my cousin likes bts but she’s still a cool person a community doesn’t make a toxic person the person was toxic already or is easily impressionable anyway we have opinions too just as you do so let us speak of our opinions but try to have constructive criticism and again I say that most people in communities when they listen to other types of music they have terrible criticism anyway have a good day/night respect Edit: btw some of this is jumbled and repetitive because of how fast I was typing and I contradicted myself sometimes on accident

I think Jail was him talking bout his mom getting arrested at 6 which he raps about in 'never let me down'. "I get down for my grandfather who took my momma Made her sit in that seat where white folks ain't want us to eat At the tender age of 6 she was arrested for the sit in And with that in my blood I was born to be different".
Bro don't be self conscious about vlogging. No one cares. How many people you passed by do you think about after 60 seconds? Probably close to zero. Just do you and don't care what others think. You're a boss. Don't hide your passions. Share them. You never know who you might inspire to do the same. The world would be so much better if all of us stopped thinking others are looking at us negatively if we arent doing things a certain way. The majority of us appreciate seeing confidence and happiness in many forms. Don't feed the negative energy especially from people who don't matter and definitely not the non existent negative energy we create for strangers in our own head. Don't put that on them. They could be vibing just like you lol
'No child left behind' already makes me cry, if he was to follow your suggestion and make it longer with a beat drop and more verses i'd need to go to the ER
@@landonbehrendt2553 I don't agree with that though, respectfully of course, personally I enjoyed Ye's earlier work, hell his single "Through The Wire" from College Dropout was played nonstop in my place when it came out, and so was most of the album, but his newest albums just don't sound like the old Ye, and the old Ye is the Ye I like, more about a lyrical message and story, whereas his newest work sounds more like random words and thoughts slammed together over a transforming beat, it sounds more Pop than Hip Hop imo, but again, only an opinion, and I don't give af about anything in Kanye's personal life, that won't change my taste in music, so I guess I still like Kanye, just his old stuff, his new music just doesn't do it for me.
@@GTAVREALISM well I agree with what you said mostly, but trust me there’s some beauty to the album. Sure, there’s songs like Jonah and Tell the vision which are pretty shit, but there’s a ton of beautiful songs on this album. Heaven and Hell, FUCKING COME TO LIFE, and 24 are all gorgeous. They obviously have meaning. You can’t just say that it’s the cohesion of random thoughts as there is amazing music in the album, tho there’s a few major major misses. Now, i don’t know what you consider “new stuff” but I will say that TLOP felt more of what you were talking about. However, it had some killers on that album as well. Famous, Ultralight Beam, FML, Waves, Wolves, Saint Pablo, and NMPILA are amazing, and kids see ghosts and ye both were introspective and important in his discography, where he really began to open up with his mental issues. Anyway, I completely respect your opinion, but I do believe that there’s a method to his madness. That being said, pre 808s Kanye is my favorite Kanye as well to be honest.
The funny thing is this is anywhere from a strong 5 to a decent-strong 8 for fantano. Absolutely beautiful songs throughout, but it's so chaotic up until the end when it really dials in. The question is does fantano fuck with this like messiness or will he think it takes away? Either way fuck the bald man this shit is top 3 Ye for me, absolutely loved it

@@tommyn3522 we’re not mad we’re disappointed with what music has come to the fact that you don’t have to put much effort into something and get so big isn’t fair and sone of the shit ain’t even catchy for us cause we have opinions too and are we not gonna talk about how the bts community is 10x more toxic than any other let’s be for real here I admit a lot of the rap community is toxic but don’t act like other communities don’t have toxic fans you can’t judge people because the other people in their community are toxic speaking about that I don’t hate peoples that like bts my cousin likes bts but she’s still a cool person a community doesn’t make a toxic person the person was toxic already or is easily impressionable anyway we have opinions too just as you do so let us speak of our opinions but try to have constructive criticism and again I say that most people in communities when they listen to other types of music they have terrible criticism anyway have a good day/night respect
Edit: btw some of this is jumbled and repetitive because of how fast I was typing and I contradicted myself sometimes on accident
not even gonna lie come to life is so beautiful I started tearing up the first time I listened to it
How much you wanna bet Kanye releases a second version of this since the label apparently released it before it was ready without his approval. Probably a different Deluxe version at the very least.
Well for TLOP he just edited the album that’s already out rather than release a different version .
Bet he will on Friday when drake drops
Hes probably gonna pull a TLOP edit a couple months after launch
I hope so. One that doesnt suck as much.
@@1saacallen DRAKES ALBUM DROPS FRIDAY!!? ONG BET!!! THANK YOU! Imma wait to buy Drakes first. This Kanye shit sounds wack
A man of taste I see, you appreciate the grandiose vibes of the production unlike most
Been loving these Quadeca reactions lately
The Donda Chant song is her heart beat before passing

@@lautsss2333 yh and it’s said 58 times like her age
That's just made it even more creepy
Nobody:
Quad every other song: "jeez, that might've been one of my favorites"
my prediction for fantano's score is this version gets a 6 but the update patch donda 2.0 will be a 8
OH MY GOD GOOD CAMERA QUALITY LETS GOOO
Ye’ really brought out the best in the best in the featured artists, I agree 🔥
"very snareless album", couldn't have summarised it better 💀
Don Toliver got me floating
I WANNA GO TO THE MOOOOON
HOW CAN I GET THROUGH
Only that song?
Weeknd got me floating
I really like Jonah especially Vory’s hook
Never heard anyone presiding it, beautiful hook
Damn Album so good , it made Quads' camera have a glow up
Dope reaction, loved all the producer insights too. This album already a classic.
THEY PLAYING SOCCER IN MY BACKYARD I THINK I SEE MESSI 😩
JUNYA WATANABE ON MY WRIST!
loved this album i don’t usually download that many songs from an album to my playlists.
if y’all didn’t like this art you’re either tweakin or a drake fan
imagine that your every "off the grid" listening is your first
this is an incredible series btw WE NEED MORE!!!
It's like if WLR and JIK had a kid. I love it.
Mixed with the messiness of TLOP
@@lionone457 quite exactly
@@lionone457 literally bro
bro this sounds NOTHING like WLR except the carti parts. that is a STRETCH (and i love WLR)
what does it have in common with WLR beside the fact that Carti is featured on it and both albums had massive hate waves upon release
In the song Jail, the 'Jail' is hell. He says "God gon post my bail tonight", the Bail is Jesus Christ since Jesus takes our sins and allows us to get out of our punishment, our Jail, 'Hell' with the price of the cross.
Love the donda profile pic

Lol I low-key thought he got info to put drake in jail🤣🤣🤣
So what does he mean by “guess who’s going to jail tonight”

why the fuck is he driving while doing this tho??

I have a feeling that moon originally was the outro to hurricane since the melody is similar. Then he made it its own track, and then rearranged the tracklist. I believe moon came after hurricane at one point

Kanye really stole the idea of delaying his album from you 😡
Come to Life is something different entirely. Instant classic, one of the best Kanye songs of all time for me.
If someone is saying it’s mid, you don’t know music, period.
17:58 kanye took your advice for the deluxe bro, i'm proud of you.
Damn Shaggy has saome really good taste in music ngl
Moon WAS the outro of hurricane on the first listening party. Lol.
Bro must have a electric car, cause bro live in California and I know he ain’t just driving around freely with dat $5 gas price
Pretty sure he got the money
It’s crazy out here , sometimes I just want to teleport or not travel at all 😩😂
nah his dad rich as fucccccc he’s chillin, plus the money he probably makes from music and youtube
I think Jail was him talking bout his mom getting arrested at 6 which he raps about in 'never let me down'.
"I get down for my grandfather who took my momma
Made her sit in that seat where white folks ain't want us to eat
At the tender age of 6 she was arrested for the sit in
And with that in my blood I was born to be different".
I love how u try avoiding donda leaks and I couldn’t find them
he kept in the see me in person i look like a ghost… FORSHADOWING 😫😫
They could be vibing just like you lol
its not that deep brother
Bro wtf 😂

Im making this into a poster. W comment
If this ain't the top post on r/copypasta, I quit
When Kanye says "sadness setting in again" on Come to Life sadness actually sets into me a little bit. Amazing song
Quadeca : Oh shit i think it's the weekend.
Me : (big braintime) no dude it's monday
'No child left behind' already makes me cry, if he was to follow your suggestion and make it longer with a beat drop and more verses i'd need to go to the ER
The part 2s aren't part of the album, they're alternate bonus tracks
10:40 the beeps are surely snares inspired by Say You Will
“This ain’t album of the year , it’s album of life “
LMAO, this has to be the worst Kanye album I've heard, Bank$ has AOTY, hands down.
@@GTAVREALISM nah cruel summer 808s and ye are probably a bit worse.
@@GTAVREALISM also you gotta remember that pretty much every Kanye album is good so that’s not much to say
The 808s on Off The Grid sound so good in the whip
Wait wtf bro really took down the CLB reaction vid ?😂😂😂
The funny thing is this is anywhere from a strong 5 to a decent-strong 8 for fantano. Absolutely beautiful songs throughout, but it's so chaotic up until the end when it really dials in. The question is does fantano fuck with this like messiness or will he think it takes away? Either way fuck the bald man this shit is top 3 Ye for me, absolutely loved it
I just got out of USMC boot camp and to come out to a new Kanye album is such a blessing
