We are ending the New Year strong with a very special performance that includes members of our very own Vibes Tribe, Narek and Arman! Gyumri natives, The Bambir is a combination of rock, folk-rock and progressive rock band with a deep history and a special place in the cultural heart of Armenians everywhere.
The band spans four decades and has seen more than 50 musicians in its line up. Founded by Jag Barseghyan in the 1970s and known to be one of the best rock groups in the Soviet Union, the four-piece band we know today was formed in 1994 and consist of Narek Barseghyan (son of Jag, song-writer, guitar, vocals), Arman Kocharyan, Arik Grigoryan and Vardan Paremuzyan (drums, percussion, vocals). Best recognized for their unique sound and their powerful stage presence, this Bambir line-up have earned a name in Russia, France, Ireland, The United States and more. Buckle up, this won’t be an Armenia Vibes Session performance you’re likely to forget.
Together with The Bambir on this occasion, the Vibes Tribe would like to extend our heartfelt wishes of a bright, prosperous and positive New Year in 2021. The year we are leaving behind has not been without its many challenges, which is why we forge ahead with great plans to make an impact, strengthening our bonds and creating a better future rooted in culture, art and love.
We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to all who came together to make everything possible, from the film crew, the musicians and the volunteers, as well as the donors who supported our Rocket Stove Heater project which has finally reached its destination today! With the help of our donors and volunteers, we were able to deliver 50 Rocket Stove Heaters today to the displaced families from Shushi to find warmth in their new homes in Stepanakert and Gyumri.
