He's so neurotic. Neurotic on steroids isn't a good trait for a father raising a daughter on his own. She needs a female, nurturing influence in her life.
My middle son who was gay got bullied by several guys in HS. My eldest son lifted weights and played football. He was huge. He said I walked up to the biggest of the guys and I got in his face and said, T is my brother...then I walked. I saw his face when he said it and he looked like he was out of his mind. I would have been scared and the guy was...left T alone. By the way gay kids have it rough. In middle school he claimed a headache just to use the nurses office bathroom in safety. He didn’t even know he was gay at that point. However, all his friends were girls and the guys hated that.
I'm a school psychologist. It's not the end of the world. The best thing would have been to tell her to tell an adult, but Monroe will figure it out. I had to hit back in 7th grade once. No one ever bothered me again.
My grandson was being bullied and once he took up for himself that boy never messed with him again!!!!
