I finished this hack like last week too. It's challenging until you realise none of the trainers have EVs on them, so the "big scary legends" don't matter, when you cherrim is still faster than their aerodactyl, even tho it's supposed to be way faster. They have maxed out IVs, but 0 EVs.
Wait really? Some trainers had real hard hitting or bulky mons, but to be fair I didn't EV train most of mine so could just be that mine were weak haha!
I know it's 4 months later so it might have been patched but they HAVE to have EVs as some mons with 95 base speed outsped my Luxray (also 95 base in this game) with Spe nature and decent Spe EVs. So that's kinda only possible if they have actual speed nature and EVs or are scarfed lol

That’s why I like the other versions of Eternal X/Wilting Y, they retain the huge difficulty jump from base XY but no legendaries makes it a bit more fun.
Hey twig you should really do a ultra hardcore nuzlocke which is like a normal nuzlocke but you cannot heal ur pokemon. Please try beating pokemon ultra sun with it

Just as a note rotation battles were always a thing in gen 6 they were just never used Like ever The only place I can remember them being used is the Battle Maison
I beat this using greninja, blaziken, kyruem, zapdos, darkrai it was pretty hard cuz I was at 1 mon and the champion also had 1 mon (cuz underlevel yay:D) and she swept my team kyruem ice beam crit and froze mewtwo idk HOW IT OUTSPED BUT I DID IT
I think this would have been a great rom hack but sadly the amount of Legendaries used by Gym Leaders and E4/Champions kinda ruins it for me. Feels like it was put together half assed... Like how they do it over at GameFreak lol
THIS IS JUST MY OPINION... I'm more of a casual player. The one thing I keep seeing in Rom Hacks that are difficult is that they give the very 1st Gym Leader a Full Team of 6 with good moves and good ai for their trainers... I kind of feel like it's far too much with the whole team of 6 part, since in a nuzlocke not everyone is going to be able to get a full team of 6 or have enough options at the start of the game... I think 4 to 5 is good enough for at the very least the 1st 2 gyms except in Kalos since their is literally a large gap between gyms... I played Inclement Emerald and it was annoying for me since I sometimes like to go for a mono type run for grass and kept dying to Roxanne because I'm not much into planning EV's until I get to Fallarbor town with the IV and EV changers. It just frustrates me I couldn't get past her with the Pokemon I got.
How do you grind a single pokemon to be at the same level as the others? I heard they half the exp and I'm trying to get my Mawilve to level 30 to fight the Rock Gym but it's taking forever.
Hey there chief I have a idea for a Pokémon nuslocke you are gonna see your skill I call it the impossilocke here are the rules:you can only use 3 Pokémon if a Pokémon dies with 2 types you must spin a wheel to see which type you can’t use for the rest of the run you can only use nurse joy you can only use weak to decent Pokémon you can’t use HM slaves and must teach it to one of your Pokémon each you can only use the weakest starter and only use ONE Pokémon for a gym you can only go and get 3 pokeballs and if a Pokémon evolves into a better one you must use a ever stone on it to not give it any items or a evolution if you have a masterball you must use it on a bad Pokémon and if you use it on the legendary Pokémon you must kill it immediately after using the masterball on it if you some how think you can do this think again CAUSE YOU HAVE TO GO ON THE SLOWEST SETTINGS AND CAN’T SKIP CUTSCENES if you want to be using something like a ponyta for example think again you have to use it against a water gym leader you can’t try and use fossil mons these are just the rules if you want to know more tell me in the replies I hope somebody will listen to this and try it out hope to see a impossilocke soon if you are seeing this spread the word :D
He’s playing the “insanity mode” version of the hack there is an easier “Normal” version of the game which seems to be on par with things like renegade platinum for difficulty
No way thise mons had EVS lmao my head calc's are insanio after 5 years of competetive mons and some of those kills were impossible a +1 earthquake killing mega aggron? No shot. Fun video tho
Past gen 3 EVS are impossible atm to add in rom hacks apperently A lot of rom hacks ether have No ev verisons (drayano games and radical red) or just don’t have Evs to start (Vintage white and emerald kazio)
