There is a trembling-a frailty-a lilting joy that broadcasts love.
This should not be mistaken for weakness. Within this talk lies the roar
    of a lioness-the wisdom of a sage.
Where my throat was parched, you drenched it with cool water. Thank you, Ayya Medhanandi.

      Dearest MK,
      Sadhu! Sadhu! Sadhu!
      Well said! Well said! Brav(o/a)!
I wasn’t sure how to describe the way Ayya Medhanandi's delicate voice, and humble nature come across the "air waves" to touch a deeper, gentler part of me. AND you pointed out the profound wisdom she expresses with it. MK, you described what I could not do accurately. Thank you in advance & in arrears for letting "piggy back" my comment on yours. I beg your indulgence with much gratefulness loving kindness.
Most of all, to Ayya Medhanandi, thank you for sharing this dhamma with the world of RUclips, and thus with me that I might grow and become a better version of my conventional self in our conventional world until I can fully see through the veil of my ignorance to the reality beyond and cease interaction with samsara through a final attainment of the wisdom of the Buddha’s Asana.
With much lovingkindness for you, and reverence for this Dhamma, with hope that it will reach all who desire (in a kusela manner) the fruits of it, and lastly with great hope and faith that when enough have grasped these teachings of the Thatagatha there can be a significant reduction in the suffering in the conventional world brought about by our spiritual impoverishment and ignorance. I truly believe it is people like you, our sister/mothers, who hold the key to the actually achieving the betterment of human kind through the teachings of the Fully Self Awakened One.
Offering you moral support which is all I currently can offer, because I am a newly poor person living in the conventional world in the time of COVID-19. And like many others around the world I’ve seen my job prospects die of this virus just as surely as far too many people have died due to my governments actions (INACTIONS) best described as "too little, too late", AND WITHOUT REGARD for the scientific advice proffered by our own CDC & NIH as well as the examples set by more proactive governments. How to get that group to listen to this talk and others about the benefits of the Buddha’s teachings is a huge challenge.
My most humble thanks and blessings on you,
      John T. Inscutable

      Dear LP,
You are very fortunate to have received tracings from her in person. I am so happy for you and the deepening of your practice. We are all part of the solution to the seeming self destructive nature of humankind (maybe mankind more specifically), but I agree that more kindness and compassion is a big part of what’s needed.
I join you in you wishes and hopes for humankind finding its way to peace. I feel certain it will be when we give more credence to our sister/mothers kind and compassionate guidance by way of the teachings of the Buddha.
      With lovingkindness,
      JT Inscrtuable

Sorrow Mountain, by Adelaide Donnelley, about Ani Pachen, the Tibetan Nun, Ayya referred to, was Ani Pachen, she was a 'warrior' Nun, from the warrior class of Tibetans due to her family linage, Ani-La was incarcerated because this was when the Chinese invaded Tibet and she was imprisoned for over 30 years because she was a 'threat' due to the deeds of her father who helped Tibetans to escape and stand up to the Chinese. She kept the face of the Dalai Lama in her heart and mind, and was able to survive. She wore the same tunic for decades. She helped others while incarcerated. She eventually escaped, travelling over the Himalayas to India, to Dharamshala. She was traumatised for the rest of her life with Post Traumatic stress, but lived in safety with the nuns at Dharamshala

I read in one of the essays by Thanissaro Bhikkhu but don't remember which one. You may find in the following web address. There could be many in the internet. As much as I understood and in the basic. The self (myself/ yourself) we are experiencing is illusion. This illusion will fall apart (showing the truth of non-self) only after we are enlightened. To be enlightened, there are works (studying, understanding, practicing) to be done. All works to be done until the stage of realization of non-self are to be done as self. Loving kindness (Metta) to yourself and other beings is helpful for the practice, it helps reduce defilements (anger, ill-will, etc) which are obstructing the growth of the practice. Because we believe as self, ourself is suffering, ourself needs metta until our suffering is no more. So, as long as there is suffering, there is self and all the practice are to be done as self. {Personal experience - The sense of self lessens during the practice, even in the early stages.} According to books and teaching of enlightened ones, once one realized the truth of non-self, one is no longer subject to any kind of suffering. With Metta~
