I actually loved this interview. Because she hadn't prepared questions ahead of time, it felt very conversational and authentic. Olu does talk over Wowgreat a bit lol, but I love their spirit and outlook on the world.

they need to learn to take turns speaking cuz they always talking over each other in interviews 😂 with the majority of the speaking done by venus while you can tell doc has a lot more to say. but gets cut off
X VII correct! It was a first for us as well to do an impromptu convo with two people at the same time. Also, The mic should have been in between them, then Doc his voice (he speaks a bit inward) would have been more louder in the interview. He is the most far away from the mic. Hopefully we can talk again when the new album comes out, so we can all give this another, more polished try. Thanks for watching!!:

Hi! (Ouni here btw) This interview set-up was pretty rare, because we only knew one day or so before hand that the JID interview was confirmed and it was suggested that we do EarthGang as well and I kind off went for it without my usual prep. Most of the times I'm pretty prepared so with EarthGang I was pretty nervous to put myself in that spot. Sometimes, interviews are confirmed super late and then you have to work with the time you still have left for your research and most of that time went to J.I.D. (You can always look for more context behind the video features in APolaroidStory.Com the direct link is description) After the interview I went in and their catalogue is amazing. Artificial, Liquor Sto, Meditate, A.W.O.L, Off The Lot, Missed Calls are a few of my personal favorites. It felt like discovering a new series you can binge, with so much great tracks to discover. So yup, I'm a fan for sure now. OUNI xx
A POLAROID STORY thats dope 😏 yee, i got the jist of the situstion from the interview so i wasnt judging the lack of preparation 😂 just wanted your opinion of their music afted you got a chance to properly listen. and i basically had the same reaction as you did. after the first song i heard of theirs, i was instantly a fan. after a couple other listens, i went and copped their entire discography in the same day 😂 and of course discovered jid through them. one of the best decisions ive ever made 😌
Two different people, you learn to speak with and within each other. Just depends on who’s questioning
I just watched the JID intereview now I’m here. Elisabeth is now one of my favorite interviewers. Also how my wife spells her name.
Man, I feel like the interviewer was far too invasive here. It appeared that because she didn't do research, she tried to overcompensate by talking too much. She interrupts them multiple times per answer. Disturbs the flow... I'm here to understand EarthGang's perspective, not hers. No offense of course. I'm glad to watch.

What you said is correct. However, no amount of prep would’ve brought up details that they prefer not to speak about. She had printout ffs Lol, what do you call that? Too much prep restricts artists to express their true self. What do you wanna see scripted or raw and honest? I think to them, Their personal details isn’t important to disclose, their not doing music for self gain, they have pure intentions. We need to do the same, appreciate the music not concentrate too much on the personal details that ultimately shouldn’t matter. I do understand the curiosity as a fan.
