I almost jumped out of my seat at the absolute hype to the sewer cutscene, the song build up, both men being injured after the bike joust, Kuze's speech, the dynamic fight intro, everything was perfect.

Without Kuze, Kiryu would never have became the legendary yakuza he becomes in the later games imo. Kuze taught kiryu that as long as you can get back on your feet then nothing is really over, "one little finger doesnt mean shit". He showed him that a real man shapes who he is as a yakuza, not the other way around.

Out of all the three, he is the only lieutenant in the Dojima family I pay more respects than the other two. Seriously love his role in Yakuza 0 wished we had a game of his past life.

@@erevanthegamer4141 but even awano and shibusawa, both have motive, goal. Im the end, awano showed that he wasnt always the guy he is, shibusawa just want to surpass shintaro kazama. They all villains not just for the sake of it, theyre all awesome antagonist

This was the peak of Kiryu and Kuze's rivalry.
In that sewer was not a regular scrap fight no, no.
That fight was an exchange of manliness in which Kiryu proved to be the more manlier.
This could've been the final Kuze fight instead
Yeah. Of all the boss fights with Kuze, the 2nd one was the best one. How he came at Kiryu with a motorcycle and a pipe, his speech about willpower, how the music helped build up the hype, everything was just perfect.
No I disagree Kiryu already prove that he was manly through there first fight. Kuze wanted to show he Kiryu the meaning of why he join the yakuza to fight strong opponents like him. He don’t care if he lost a pinky his rank or even his life he wants to know he can still be alive fighting a opponent that gave him the reason to be strong. He like a underdog even when you kick his teeth in he’ll still bite.

...Well, except for this. You knocked it outta the park!
In the yakuza life, there are no KOs.
My first fight with Kuze went something like, his face looks old and he probably isn’t that bad. He then threw off his coat revealing how in shape he actually was and he started to circle me while punching relentlessly. I learned my lesson after that. By the last encounter I strangely didn’t want the fight to end. That feeling became stronger when Kuze and Kiryu just started punching each other with reckless abandon, no dodges or blocks. While I’ve beaten 0, Kiwami and I’m working my way through Kiwami 2 now. Kuze’s battles and themes remain as my favorite in Yakuza series so far.
Yakuza 0 is the pick of the franchise, is all meh from there. (The stories are good but the gameplay is best in 0...and no Y0 wasn't my first.....it was kiwami 1. lol)

Symphonic Metal is my absolute favorite genre. And Daisuke Kuze is my favorite Yakuza villain. This was a treat.

u prob dont get what you wrote but it sounds lame af "watashi" is usually used by women, and although sometimes men use it, it is not the manly way of saying I so it doesnt fit here. "desu" is polite speech so the entire sentence makes no sense. Obviously he didnt say it like that.
