I’ve build my pc off this motherboard with a ryzen 7 7700x, GeForce rtx 4060 ti, g.skill trident 32gb ddr5 ram, and corsair hx1200 psu. I can’t get a display to come up at all. The dram indicator light stays on. I’ve checked the gigabyte website and my ram is in the supported memory list. Is there something else I’m not doing?
I’ve already tried q flashing the latest bios but the dram light still comes on. I can’t tell if the bios update is working or not. Everyone else has said once the update is complete the q flash light will stop blinking and then the motherboard should shut off and reset
@ it says my cpu has been supported since bios version f1. I just tried updating to f32 just Incase my specific ram wasn’t originally supported but either the update didn’t work or there’s a different issue with the ram because the dram indicator light is still on. I have two different ram kits and I’ve tried all 4 sticks individually in the a2 slot like the manual says.
I would update the BIOS using the flash button without the CPU, RAM and GPU being put in... but it looks like you should RMA the motherboard. Assuming this is a PC you've just assembled from new parts you've bought. You did check the the RAM is properly seated in the sockets? This is the last thing to consider... but I expect it's not that if you've assembled a PC before. So RMA... or take it to a local PC repair person for them to play with.
Im trying to build my first PC with this motherboard and it won’t boot, I get a DRAM error light for about 5 seconds then everything shuts off. I’ve tried 2 different brands of RAM.
Visit the web page for your motherboard. It'll be somewhere in the support section. e.g. For the B650 Eagle AX motherboard in the video... www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B650-EAGLE-AX/support#support-memsup :)
can you manually set the ram speed on this motherboard, iv tried searching but i can only just enable xmp to run at 6400 mhz and have my games crash constantly or 4800 id like to do 5800 or 6000 but i havent figured out a way to manually set the ram speed
Hi i've build pc using gigabyte b650 eagle ax and i have come across a problem where ethernet is less stable then wifi. To put it simply loading web pages or other types of images through discord or ms teams takes longer, and i cannot load in to the lobbies in games. i was wondering if you would know the answer to this problem? (checked cable and router tried with new cable and still it is the same, updated drivers for realtek)
Never had this problem, but you could try opening an admin CMD prompt and typing the following... ipconfig /release ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /renew Press return after each one. I would also disable/disconnnect the Wi-Fi too - but most of the online problems are with the Wi-Fi card rather than the LAN port. There's a network stack setting in the BIOS too - that might be worth a look.
I built a pc with the following: • AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 4.7GHz • Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX Motherboard ATX AMD AM5 Socket • Gigabyte P850GM 850W Full Modular 80 Plus Gold • Gigabyte Radeon RX 6600 8GB GDDR6 Eagle • Kingston Fury Beast RGB 32GB DDR5 RAM 2 Modules (2x16GB) 6000 • Kingston KC3000 SSD 2TB M.2 NVMe PCI Express 4.0 • Be Quiet PURE LOOP 2 FX I've updated the BIOS through USB but I can't get into the BIOS. Can you help me?
Im going to pair it with xpg lancer blade 16gb single ram stick i guess cl48 its not on the vender list or qvl or whatever so will it work ? I mean it supports 6000oc ram sticks and the ram has expo aswell as xmp i just wish i dont get any errors and wont boot because then i will have no other ddr5 ram to check it with
Bring on the QVL means the RAM has been tested and shown to work. Other RAM will probably work, but you shouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t. Note that a two stick kit will work better than a single one anyway. 🙂
Issue: Tried an nvme named fanxiang S880r 2tb Recognize first then sudden blue screen Didnt recognize after blue screen Need to reset cmos/mobo Tried the nvme to a friend pc it is working Friend went to my house to fix my pc The nvme is running smoothly for 2 days The nvme crashed today(sunday) Blue screen Brought to a pc shop saying it maybe because of the nvme. Replaced nvme to msi 1tb It got recognized I left my 2tb nvme fanxiang to pc to monitor Then after bringing home the nvme from MSI Windows is not responding but can navigate only to cursors then cannot open anything Tried going to bios but it is not allowing me too. Any possible issue? Please help. Blue screen is from pc shop when trying boot my nvme 2tb fanxiang Video is from my 1tb MSI P.S. fresh OS.
Try it with a Samsung M.2 or any 2.5” SSD. Or try the M.2 in another slot. Check the BIOS version and update to the latest non-beta version. Then see what happens. 🙂
Don’t worry… you can do it. Visit the motherboard webpage and check the BIOS downloads. There’s instructions, but for this motherboard you download the new BIOS, unpack the zip file and rename it. Put it on a USB stick and then reboot with the stick plugged in. Enter the BIOS and go to the flash utility. Choose the file on the USB stick and it’ll update it. Just make sure the PC doesn’t power off during the update and it’ll work without any problems. 🙂
I have a problem with the motherboard squealing after setting xmp. I reset the settings and the problem still persists
Which motherboard have you got?
I’m about to install this motherboard hopefully I did everything right
It’ll be fine… 🙂
When i plug power to my pc the psu run automatically with this board any help please
If the board is on a case then check for shorts. If it isn't then make sure the bottom of the board isn't touching anything that conducts.

Is the BIOS updated to at least the version that supports the CPU you are using?

Update the BIOS and check the RAM is on the QVL so it's been tested.
Hope that helps.
i tried enabling the xmp with this mobo but i ran into errors and had to reset cmos/bios.
Update the BIOS and check your RAM is on the QVL.
🙂
@sterntechdaddy sorry for the noob question, where can I find the QVL option? Thanks

Where to do it depends on the motherboard, but you should be able to choose a frequency.

Does the motherboard have any diagnostic LEDs?
If there’s no POST and you can’t get into the BIOS then that narrows things down a bit.
