'Easier' sold me on JG. The simplistic ballad is perfection. Half the 200,000 views are probably mine.
John grant speaks to that part of you that tells you you're worth nothing, and holds it with is voice. There's a rawness and a vulnerability to his image, a vulnerability that we all struggle to show. I love this song because we all feel like an idiot for letting people into our lives sometimes, and he makes it okay

I have listened to this song, and ' Where dreams go to die' many times. The musicianship is so good, and the apparent struggle with the demands of the piano score..
I see a massively demanding schedule ahead in concerts for Grant. I hope I will catch him in Auckland for his March concert there. Either that or I just get on Amtrak rail and get off where the next concert is.

Wonderful - Elton shining through - but John´s voice (is it a baritone voice?) is so pleasantly pleasing and soothing. Not as scratchy in the low range like that of Rufus - not that shaky and baroque like that of Antony - wonderful!
