Great ideas… I just watched you make several rugs, made my own following your instructions And then bought the pattern to support the designer. Thank you so much
I noticed on one of your videos that you had a clear (plexiglass) type tray type that you slid onto your sewing table to even out the service between the machine and table top. Where did you get that?
Why do you state “you start with what the centre of the rug will be”? I would have presumed that the outside of the rug would be wound on first onto the pipe. As when you sew the rug, you start in the middle and work outwards, so therefore the last section rolled up would be the centre of the rug.
I am new to rug making and had the same question. I understand that this gives you a preview of what the rug will look like, which is wonderful, but do you now have to unwind your strips and redo it so that the middle of the rug is on the outside?
@@robinharney6651I think Amanda rolls her sewn strips into a ball. Rolling them onto the PVC pipe the way she does will allow her to roll the outside of the rug (dark side) first, after sewing it. When she does this, the end of the ball will then be the center of the rug when she starts zigzagging the strips together.
Thanks for the videos. Great energy. Makes me smile every time.
I’ve not made a rug yet, butttttt I do like the way you put prepped your fabric!!!
Thanxabunch ❤️😀

Можно сматывать на втулку от туалетной бумаги или после салфеток остаётся тоже, только ее надо будет подрезать для вашего размера ленты

It goes with my sewing table. You have to order an insert cut to your specific machine in order for your table to be completely flat
This is the sewing table I got:

And this is where you order thr insert:
