I love this and would love to see this more in the US. Seeing people treating the kitchens like their own personal design statements like furniture instead of the stock built ins!
I made my own freestanding kitchen with 2 large open china hutches. I converted my large 15 x 20 great room into a kitchen. Previously used as a utility room. 220/240 volt electric line was already in place. Put my stove and fridge and dishwasher in the room. Added colonial styled table and chairs. A farm table is used for meal prep. Small area off the room where electrical wires are gathered serves as a small pantry. Currently using the utility sink but will replace that with a farm sink. Will also spend to have a ceramic tile floor laid at some point. But so far only spent about $500 for the tables, chairs, and the china hutches.
I'm doing this with my current kitchen reno. I am just using older retro fitted furniture to make my kitchen movable. Awesome to see a company taking the lead.
I've been thinking of putting my kitchen together one cabinet at a time (I don't want wall cabinets). I didn't know it was an actual thing with a name - a freestanding kitchen 😅 Now to find a cabinet maker who will make me some cabinets.
Its like the commercial functional kitchen blending with the residential asthetic. Would be achievable to put casters on off the shelf cabinetry here in N/America, no?
It wouldn't be quite that simple. The RTA cabinets are meant to have secure attachment systems to maintain rigidity (floor and wall). Placing them on casters wouldn't make up for this. That's not saying without some customization it can't be done, it just wouldn't be the same as solid wood cabinetry built to be moveable.
In the US homebuyers expect a kitchen in the home so if you took the kitchen it would devalue your home. I love the look of the cabinets though beautiful
yes I agree but also so many times homebuyers end up remodelling and with this type of philisophy it makes it so easy to just put in a new kitchen when everything is free and open. I so wish USA would shift to this more as well! I love that it makes your ktichen just like a living room with your own style furniture!
I have a question about safety. How do you prevent the furniture from accidentally toppling over? When I was looking for a house, the stove almost fell over!
But in the USA they're making horrendous kitchens without walls. Where would we put them? As a coffee table? America needs kitchens with walls; and your lovely designs.
NO JOKE. im tired of the open floor plan. I want to go back to the Closed rooms era. We cant even remodel our home without someone telling us we can have [permission
As someone who loves to rearrange, I love this.

Yes, please!
We need this in USA.
We had it in the early 1900s. Check out Farmhouse Vernacular’s video The Unfitted Kitchen.
Yes. Indeed.
Been doing this for years..

Send us some pics! We’d love to see.
What are you using for a sink cabinet?
I've always wanted to do this!
Superb idea. Pl throw more light on this. Thx 💐🙏

I disagree. The first renovation someone would do in a new house would be the kitchen.
Would love this! But....what about them tipping over? Would love to see a strap attachment, but I bet a homeowner could easily do that...
Hi 👋🏼 they are all fully self supported and engineered to stand entirely on there own - there is no danger of them tipping over!
That's a myth. My mother has always had free standing kitchen cabinets and they have never tipped over. And her floor is uneven.
I have a question about safety. How do you prevent the furniture from accidentally toppling over? When I was looking for a house, the stove almost fell over!
We need this in the UK
There's plenty of firms in the UK who could produce this sort of thing if you really wanted it.
But in the USA they're making horrendous kitchens without walls. Where would we put them? As a coffee table? America needs kitchens with walls; and your lovely designs.

Can we order from you in the United States?
Certainly - delivery cost is pricey though!
Can these be anchored to the wall (like a dresser) for those who live in earthquake country?
Certainly
wonderful
Amandla!
Do you deliver to United States?
We can arrange delivery to the states!
