Amazing how far the WSR has come from those early days of the 2 Bagnell saddle tank engines Victor and Vulcan. I still have water colour prints of both on my wall.
Great video of my favourite line .the locations were very good also. I find the movement of the siderods and wheels mesmerising. The soundtrack was also excellent. Brilliant stuff .many thanks.
Yes a great video, also as someone else said - great to hear the birds singing at the Start or just past the start of this great video 👍👍 so let me say, a great big thank you for sending this trimendous video, also thanks to everyone who made this great video 👍👍 👍
From distant Oz, I was lucky to travel on this line last year: became favourite. Loved the first and second shots as these are perspectives unrecognisable from being on board. The usual superb footage.
Really enjoyable, excellent filming, especially those brightly contrasting fields of oil seed rape, thank you. The only downside is the mixed up livery of Taw Valley that I've already mentioned on the SVR Steam Gala thread ... wartime black on a 1946 loco? And a pre-grouping number on a rebuilt WC? I would prefer heritage railways to be more accurate in their presentation but hey, can't win 'em all. 😉
Excellent video Liam and Phil. It looked a fantastic gala. You have done great coverage with great selection of locations. Plenty of action. Kind regards C&A
Magnificent footage - my late Dad would've loved watching this. 🙏🏽
superb presentation 👍👍

Great opening shot,a reminder of a more tranquil time.

Thanks, Edmund. This railway is right up there with big premier lines.
I have become a shareholder: partly a donation, apart from the free travel voucher.

Liam
Cheers mate, no mighty Clun this time ! You lot did well with it on the North Wales Coast.
What's not to love about God's Wonderful Railway?😂
How long are the visiting locos staying at the WSR? I was unable to go this weekend but can next so I'm hoping they will all still be running?
7812 is there for the season, so you might see it.
