The composition didn’t do anything for you? The melody and chord movements and dynamics and storytelling? This song is way more than a pedal, it’s gifted songwriting. That’s like looking at a perfectly cooked filet mignon with butter on it and saying “Steaks these days are just getting by with melted butter.” No, it’s still a perfectly cooked filet mignon. I know we all have our own opinions, I just hope your aversion to pedals doesn’t cause you to miss the real, real music there
