Hi my dear friend thank you so much for another great garden video. These are my favorite kind. Looks like your Walmart is doing really great and having some beautiful plants will enjoy the video. Thanks so much for sharing.
So nice of you to take the time to comment! I love browsing the new arrivals
You sure had a great collection of these wonderful flowering bulbs. I really do enjoy them. I have a lot of them in my garden. Also, maybe I should go over and pick a few more up.
The more the merrier!! Which ones are your favorite?
Here in Conyers Georgia USA, we have not received bareroot rose plants yet. I am waiting for them, you are lucky to have them.
That is interesting!! Perhaps, they will arrive soon.
Wow, it is interesting to see that you have the same bulbs in spring time what we have in Europe, but the pot sizes are so huge. We usually have these bulbs and pansies in like a 2,5×2,5 or 3×3 in square/cubic pots, so the pots are just a little bit bigger than the bulbs, and the bulbs always stick out from the pot. Thank you for the educational video!
That is so interesting!! What part of Europe are you located?
@@thehardygardener3064 Hungary, but we usually have Dutch grown plants in the supermarkets (Aldi, Lidl, etc.)
We have Aldi here, I will go see what they have for spring :) Let's see how similar their merchandise is....
@@thehardygardener3064 The Hungarian Aldi (Aldi Süd company, there's an Aldi Nord for Northern-Europe) sources from Landgard, and they often mix up cultivars, like almost 50% of the time. Lidl is better here. I usually buy mail order, because I found that the color pictured flower bulbs are the lowest quality in Europe. The Americans have better quality because of the USDA regulations.
Oh my goodness, I'm sure it's frustrating to buy a specific cultivar and then it turns out to be another.... That's bad business and I don't blame you for shopping elsewhere. I went by one Aldi yesterday to film their spring 2025 plant selection and they only had some tulips in glass vases growing in water. I asked the cashier and he said they have not received the spring plants yet. I will be sure to check back and film a video when they do arrive!
No luck at all with bleeding heart
I haven't had luck with them here in North Texas. They do not handle the heat very well...
