The m9 setting off several explosions, brutally killing the guards, and commiting petty theft in an archmages chamber and then going "fucking Astrid" pretty much sums them up lmao.
I think the “fucking Astrid” remark was more so because they assumed Astrid’s prior intelligence was that Trent would not be present at the time of the heist, and with his sudden arrival it felt like she was deceptive and that either 1) he was there the whole time, or 2) he was alerted by Astrid to go to the asylum. I’m sure they are under no illusion that their actions alerted the guards, just that the sudden arrival of Trent felt fishy. Also Veth "I COULD set Yasha straight about the message spell for this dangerous mission. But I'm not going to."
"We are giving them our best! It's just sad that this is our best" Sums up the Mighty Nein pretty well
empire siblings truly out here killing people in the most fucked up ways
"My friend Jasper got me the job. He's a bit 'dense' at times."
Just realized that Matt was making a joke!
Chaos crew living up to their name.
Marisha: "You know what I want to do"
Travis: "Yeah I do!"
Narrator: "He did not, in fact, know what she wanted to do"
I love to think this episode was a taste to see the audience's reaction to a possible evil C3
This video was extremely sarsaparilla i really licoriced this firestorm of a week so i really needed this outie today. Thank you as always MRG
also, fuck LOL Ocean's Nein is really good
those little interjection videos are a stroke of genius, i was laughing already and they just made it better, thank you for making another brilliant highlights vid!!
Omg the John Mulaney insert had me ROLLING
I came to the episode late and was extremely confused and concerned as to why Caleb was turning guards into meatballs and Beau was making a scene out of Saw.
29:18 Never expected the KRS reference from Travis but I'm all here for it.
Liam's gun holding technique is low key impressive. It looks like he's practiced.
That story that Liam told about being arrested for practicing holding a gun by using a tape box as a prop in the street outside the building for his audition haha
I feel like the "dense" joke went over all their heads, brilliant bit of improv from Matt
I'm not saying it's not possible that Astrid didn't set them up but it is possible that:
1. Trent just happened to be there and Astrid didn't know
2. There's a alarm system set up to alert Trent and he can teleport there
Honestly coming back to this after a year and this might be the funniest episode of cr for me and possibly the most brutal.
30:50 Sam just looking around the table for any reaction to his dwarven forge ad is fucking hilarious
This was the most engagingly entertaining episode I ever watched live… I watched it about 20 times that weekend, and for once it wasn’t just to make sure I didn’t miss anything… even if I probably did because I was laughing so hard.
the editing is so good!! this was a pleasure to watch after that ending
This episode was insanely fun and I had a blast watching it.
The Fun part about this episode is imagining this on the future animated series:
Veth: Are we the baddies?
Caleb: Nah, look at all this torture devices here
*Guard dying by acid*
I need to see this as an animated Special!
"Ocean's Nein", you magnificent genius you !
I don't think there has been a more intense cliffhanger in the show.
It's like when Vecna just showed up, but it's worse because they have nothing they can really do and he's JUST A GUY NOT LICH AND YET HE IS SO MUCH WORSE.
