- If you have ever been told that you do not have enough bone for all on 4 or dental implants, you might want to see the different options available for different levels of bone loss
You are one of the only dentists that I see who are totally transparent . Most others are giving a sales pitch for their practice and their procedure - they will give you little information on options, or their implant failure rate, or what their response is if a person spends thousands of dollars only to have the implant fail. I just feel that you are honest whereas others are more like used car salesmen.
Good talk , great information , I’m one of them people with no bone left
Thank you so much for explaining the different strategies for implant placement . The pictures helped a lot . Are you in USA.
Spectacular explanation
great job dr
What a lovely guy!
Hello, I have had failed implants. I have had 5 implants placed for a hybrid denture. I have had many bone grafts and sinus lifts. So many painful procedures and so much money. I am due to have the implants uncovered. I think I have decided to have have them removed
I think this hybrid will fail too and will end up with a denture eventually anyway. What is your opinion? Thank you. I have had 4 years of living hell with my teeth and all the pain.
Can you do one for the lower jaw
Will bone grafting restore my gums to original dimensions? Thank you! I love your videos!
Hi Jamie, this is difficult to answer properly. If you are missing one or two teeth, then bone grafting will work very well, but it gets harder to achieve perfect results the more teeth are missing. I might actually make a video about this, but does this kind of make sense?
Dr Gurs Sehmi yes. I’m just hoping that restoration can actually mean restoration. At least under my nose bringing my implants out the correct distance. Thank you for your reply! Would love a video on this ! :) You’re awesome!
Do you recommend wearing a night guard with all on 4 implants? Thank you
Thanks for the video. I subscribed your channel. Quick question, I have to implant number 30 which is bottom side of the jaw not the upper one. Do you think if i dont have enough bone on bottom side can be figured out
you will need a CT scan before the implantation but normally the lower arch has thicker and stronger bone than the upper
I've worn top and bottom side dentures for 40 years, I doubt I would have enough bone there for implants.
How can I reach your doctor s
Very useful information..
Thank you!
What is to be said about the bottom 🤔???
My bottom teeth all loose well kinda im 11
Hi I read with the all on 4 you have to have about 3 specialist maintenance check ups a year to remove them for cleaning as food gets lodged in between the gum and denture. But with an all on 6 or 8 you don't need the maintenance, is this true? And if so how much for these?
All on 6 is 15k per upper or lower! So 30k & I've u only need to see ur dentist 2 times a yr for cleaning!
Gurs, Dr McFadden of the Dental Implant Centre claims that All on 4 always requires removal of bone prior to implants. I've just looked at his 'All on 4 vs Implant Bridges' video made a year ago - and the man has made me nervous about getting All on 4 now. He is so against it. Can you please give me your thoughts on this, preferably soon, as my first All on 4 assessment is next week!!!
Are zygomatic implants particularly risky? Why is it you don't do them?
Hi Ababy, I think in the right hands, they should not be any more risky than any other types of dental implants. I don't do them because it's quite rare that a patient would need them, so I may see one patient a year for this treatment. I have been on courses to learn how to do them, but without practice, I wouldn't be able to provide this treatment at a high standard.
There are local surgeons who get called in by many surgeries to do this treatment, so they have more experience, so it make sense that I would call them in when my patient would benefit from these kinds of implants.
If you have your front 5 teeth but that's it and not enough bone to do individual implants or your implants have failed, what would you recommend ?
I've got 7 on the bottom and am really thinking of getting full mouth restoration
It sounds like you're right, try and find a dentist who can do do full mouth care
Please I need help how much does it cost
The fee is very variable. Where I am, it's 18k plus sedation, bringing it up to nearly £20k. It's expensive!
I been told that!! No good bones to do implants 😥
Hi sorry to hear that, can't you get a bone graft from the hip ? I read that somewhere. I'm hoping to afford these one day but my dentist wants to take my teeth out now and I'm afraid if he does then by the time I can afford these I won't have enough bone. How long ago had you had your teeth out if you do mind me asking
@@thebrightsideofthemoon5829 Yes ur spot on that u need ur teeth now before u actually do this to have good enough bone density to do the all on 4 or 6 procedure my friend! I'm getting mine done very soon! It's quite expensive so I'ma go the monthly payments route! Stay safe n god bless my friend!
all we hear is: there is no other option for you than sinus lift, I have never heard any dentist mention these special techniques
They are not that common, and a little more specialist. Sinus lifts are also a great option, and less invasive
Do i have enough bone? Can i send you a email with my X-rays? Need all on 4 on top.
Are you a Dentist or are you a qualified Oral Surgeon ?
Sorry really expensive compared to the work I have had done.
I been told I have no bone
And how expensive are you?
Do you have a CBCT scan showing your bone levels? All on 4 with zygomatic implants is £18,000 (payment plans available)
@@drgurssehmi do you have a website and what kind of plans do you do please
I have the bone, I have 5 top and 8 bottom ( front) left unfortunately due to side effects from medication and a jaw problem, I’m in need a great doctor to do the work. Please get in touch with me as soon as able. Thank you so much. I need to have this done so badly. I’m losing wght now :/

Dr Gurs Sehmi I’m in the USA. I’m getting the all on 4. ( upper ) I still will need the lower. :(
I need a bone graph. My DID say doctor said I was getting a “ bone graph” I thought there was only just one kind? Or Is that a sinus lift??
I’m confused now. :/.
