This is the scene I truly understand Urianger and Moenbryda’s parents. I lost my 1-year-old niece around Halloween last year and there were no words I could think of to console my brother and my sister-in-law for losing their first child. Also, I couldn’t find the comfort for myself with the fact that I will never ever see this girl’s bright and happy smile again. This part of EW comforts me greatly, allowing me to cry to my heart content and heal myself.
I looooved this sequence all because the kids got to really show Fourchenault what they were capable of. It goes back to what Ameliance said, don't best him with words. Show him. Estinien and Fourchenault was a good one. (Also, I was a sobbing mess over Urianger's scene)
Just saw you on lulu! Totally agree with your soken take, he does not get the recognition he should. He’s one of the best composers I’ve listened to in a long time.
The description of the Moenbryda minion is actually a bit different in the Japanese version. This is a translation that someone made on Reddit a few years ago: "A magical doll modeled after Moenbryda. Urianger created this doll by himself in secret in order to sort out the feelings he did not realize he had until after her death. No doubt the doll's gentle expression is a recreation of what he saw on her face whenever she looked at him." Kind of wish they kept it closer to the original Japanese, since that last joke felt really unnecessary.
The Urianger scene is where I actually started crying and I didn't stop til the end ... the very end.
Such a good scene
And now I'm crying at work.
What can I say except....you're welcome!
That dam Urianger scene had me ugly crying .... and it still gets me to tear up even now.

Such a good scene for Urianger
I like that urianger did not hug back until he felt he was actually forgiven. Like he was undeserving until then :O
It was so painful...
This god dam writing.... Masterful.

Yea I agree!!! Knowing the differences the Japanese version is much better.
Oh my, that's so much better a description!
They have subsequently changed the text of the minion.
