i discovered this amazing talent while watching a youtube video by some guy griping about the present day lousy country music,,,how it all sounds the same,,,and then he threw this gal in to prove his point.....2 seconds into her video that was it,,,,hooked!!!! what a breath of fresh air,,,,love her video 'devil in a dress'

I "discovered" Tami when I started watching The Brokenwood Mysteries last year. It's a New Zealand show. Very well done, lighter murder-mystery series. The main character likes to listen to country-western music on cassette tapes in his '71 Holden (Aussie version of Chevy-Pontiac). Tami did some of the background music for the show.
I just discovered this song via Grady Smith's video essay on "This Beat is Killing Country Music" and he uses this song as a counterpoint on how live drums in country music are far superior to generic pop beats. I'm glad he recommended this song because it is great!

A clever recreation of a 1950's American Country Music show with Delaney Davidson doing the introduction, Tami signing like the late, great Patsy Cline and Marlon Williams on the straw bale to her right joins in to sing. New Zealand is loaded with some very good musical talent and Darn! I'm glad their making the best of it for us to enjoy.
