    Awesome video....thank you so much for sharing...I learned a lot...the counting back to get the right stitch count for me was great...the only thing I am having trouble with is the row count...

    My hat ended up way too big??? My stitch count matched yours, but my body fits inside of my hat. What did I do wrong?

    Just to be able to crochet the gnome's hat would be good enough for me, the rest is easy. I'm just useless at the very start of the hat, the round and round bit once started no problem. I have tried many many times but it's no use I end up with a crooked top, this of course can look quite good even funny. So what I'm asking is there anyone out there that can direct me to a video that concentrates on just the first 5 or 6 rows, I don't need the rest of the instructions. x
