SAD MOMENT IN BIRD'S NEST | MOTHER UNAWARELY STABS HER CHILD WITH HER SHARP NAILS

The mother bird brings food for her child in the nest and one child is seen being pushed up by its sibling and causes the mother to unknowingly step on and stab her child's body with her sharp toenails.

It should be noted that this video was taken using a cellphone camera and when the baby bird was on the nest fence, the cellphone camera was covered by stalks and leaves that fell and got stuck in front of the cellphone camera, because of that the video only shows the baby already on the nest fence.
This video is not a cameraman's engineering but this video is an original recording that was left for several hours by the cameraman.

While the mother does step on her baby a couple times, neither was hard enough to hurt it. I do wish that birds were smarter though. Imagine if she had enough brain power to recognize that one of her children is outside the nest and carefully and gently nudge it back into the nest. Watching these videos underlines why they’re called “bird brains”. Many of them are very stupid. 🤨🤔😔
