I love the pebbly goat. The paragraph one was my first premium and I got it for a good deal in Canada. Initially I was not happy as it's way too big too hold in your hands and read, it actually turned out to be a great desk bible and notetaking/wide margin. Wow!
I would have loved for Crossway to make a preaching Bible in double column format just like these without references, just the footnotes. I like the ESV Verse by Verse Reference bible because it's double column, but it is not line matched and it has the references at the bottom of one of the columns, but there are very small. They could remove the references and increase the font to about 10 and that would be an amazing Bible. For now, I think the ESV Large Print Wide Margin Bible is one the best Bibles Crossway has that would work as preaching bible. It's thinner than both those two preaching Bibles and it's double column, paragraph but the verses are very very easy to find. I love when bible are set to form, so poerty looks like poetry and prose looks like prose. That's what the large print wide margin has going for it. There is however no premium edition of it, it only comes in TruTone and genuine leather.
I have the VbV version. Worth every penny. Easy to read from at a distance, which is probably one of the more important features for actual preachers. Goatskin is puffy and floppy and I really like it, it's different from every other GS I have. I don't think everyone likes them though.
I know I may be in the minority but I’m not a huge single column format fan. I wish every translation had a old school double column, verse by verse format. Maybe it’s because that’s what I prefer to preach from.
Any recommendations for a King James Bible w/ Apocrypha and References to and from the Apocrypha? The Thomas Nelson is missing References in the Apocrypha. Are you aware of any that rectify this issue? It seems the Cambridge Cameo does but it is very expensive.
This is kind of an off topic question but do you know where or who or if there is any 13 or 14 point font ESV Bibles. I seem to have more problems finding this one in large print or giant print than others
Thank you, Brother Tim. You are doing an absolutely fantastic job. You're on it,Bro.🌹🌹🌹🌹
Brother God bless you I hope you and your family is well by his grace today I received your free gift bible Thank you God bless you

I like the bigger font of the paragraph preaching.
But I like the uninterrupted text of the Legacy.

Very informative. Thank you for the review and comparison Tim.

Tim! How’s the ghosting in the paragraph version? I’m thinking to buy this tomorrow. Hope you see this before then 🙏
It’s great. Nice paper. Line matching. Love it. I feature them both in this video.
Sounds like something I may enjoy studying with
Are you sure the Omega's 11 pt?!? Doesn't seem that big. Great comparison vid, thank you.
They’ve gone back and forth with it. It was listed as a 10, then an 11. Now it says 10.5…so…it’s close???
I have an older Heirloom Wide Margin Reference from The Netherlands that has the more pebbly shiny grain.
Those things are super rare now.

I’m OK with single column, but not in a verse by verse format. I just can’t get used to it.

I don’t know of an in print KJV that meets this need outside of Cambridge.
@@anickelsworthbiblereviews I understand. Thank you for your reply. Looks like I will have to spring for Cameo then.

I don’t know of any giant print ESVs.
@@anickelsworthbiblereviews this makes me very sad. That's probably why I don't have one I feel like I'm being shut out lol!
