Shaswati Sen, senior disciple of Guru Birju Maharaj explains and performs the highlights of her Guru's choreography. She then performs a Sargam which is a pure dance number. This is followed by a Jugalbandhi of Kathak and Bharatanatyam, presenting Nirupama and Rajendra, a dynamic and spellbinding dancing couple for Kathak and Mridula and Praveen for Bharatanatyam. The number compares and contrasts the similarities and differences between the two classical styles.
