@@Lemma01 Yes, (well spotted). The old method with wooden lifts/pulleys would have probably made things smoother and easier. I wonder if they considered building one on the hill above the building?
Great design with many windows, love the sympathetic, quality stonework. In Australia many houses near the bush also have sprinkler systems. Good idea.
I live in France and, often, masonery are made by portuguese people. Those men and their knowledge are unbelievable (yours too don't make me say what i don't want 😁). Thank you for showing your work
Ropes and pulleys, balancing and blocking, levers and wedges. Stonecarver talking. Oh, and a bit of dry sand sand between heavy stones and it slides much more easily into place
Hello! I have a question. Why did you installed a sprinkler system? It’s a Portugal rule or only your safety choice? Thanks for your answer. It’s a wonderful house!
Its our personal choice, because the house is in a forest and in Portugal there are many forest fires. There is no obligation in Portugal to install one as far as I know.
Its for a fire protection system. Copper tubes because later I cannot get there anymore to tighten any fittings. So had to solder and it will be watertight longer.

Ancient work/technique, amazing to watch. Thank you for sharing.
Oh yes, especially the Volvo...😅

Love this stonework! It's really impressive to see how they make it all fit.

So much progress in 2 weeks , unbelievable 👏
And now more wall, floor, more walls and more windows. 😉 Great work! 👍🏾😎
Fantastic Project! great videos to watch
Loved that final touch dance! Keep up dree good work! ;) Greetings from Tuebingen to Portugal!
Amazing work! Very important for your sprinkler system is that copper must not come into contact with lime as it corrodes it. Cement is fine!
I´m gonna look so much forward to the glas mounting.
Most interesting channel. Thank you for sharing your progress with us
I'm following in complete awe!

Can you please tell me why the copper pipes in the windows? Very interesting! Thank you!
Congratulations
Wonderful! By watching this I am wondering: how the f**{#] did they used to do the windows back in the day when access to machinery wasn’t possible?!
Ropes and pulleys, balancing and blocking, levers and wedges. Stonecarver talking. Oh, and a bit of dry sand sand between heavy stones and it slides much more easily into place
Fantástico !
Beautiful work. I just don't understand the order of the videos. This section does not yet have the windows from part #5, nor the doors from part #4.
Yes several works were done at the same time and overlapping with each other. Split it into several videos so you can watch it by topic.

2:05 dude cutting stone without a mask REALLY wants silicosis.
👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏
Los catorce minutos del vídeo a cuántas horas de trabajo real corresponden!?
what are the copper pipes for?
👍
why sprinklers in walls?
It look's awesome !!!
but I don't understan why you guys would put your live's on the line.. cause it's like totally unsafe ?
Hi, can you explain the role of the copper pipe on the top on le lintel ? what is the purpose ?
Its for a fire protection system. Copper tubes because later I cannot get there anymore to tighten any fittings. So had to solder and it will be watertight longer.

Trochu pomiešaná časová postupnosť, ale v koneçnom dôsledku to nie je až tak vada.
I can't believe they are sawing stone with no mask or safety glasses.
Is this some kind of historical project… or is this just some rich white guy? 😂
Blonde, white guy, stupid enough to take on such a project 😄
@@vale.do.salgueiro😂
Awesome project!
